I should say that I'm a retired prop maker and was going to make just a tin funnel hat to wear at a recent Oz themed birthday party but this costume was available from Amazon for a great sale price. I'm 5-2", 160# and tho the pants were way big, the costume fit fine on me and was comfortable. I did form and rivet together a galvanized steel hat, created a prop wooden axe with sling carrying leather holster and made a painted wooden heart clock bored for a working 3-1/2" clock insert to pin over the printed one. I received many compliments especially for the extra details. The costume, itself, as received, is quite adequate IMHO, but at the least, you should stiffen the floppy fabric hat with cardboard inside. I did sew in a zipper to close the back opening of the tunic because the 2 small Velcro tabs at the neck don't do the job. Otherwise, ask a helper to close the opening with safety pins. I recommend you get a prop axe ( not included ) to complete the look. I knew that my real felling axe would be too cumbersome to carry around and perhaps a danger at a spirited party. My axe carrying sling freed my hands to enjoy eating party food. Read more

This costume was of OK quality, worked well for what I needed it for. Pants were a bit thin. Pros: -Decent quality, didn't immediately fall apart. -Fits well on an average height and weight person with spare room. (~150lbs 5'10") Cons: -Does not come with axe (disclosed in listing but still shown in photos). -Foot straps are borderline useless. Tape them to your shoe with duct-tape. Read more

I ordered this for my son in law. I thought it was going to be too big. The bottoms are like nylon thin pajama pants. But wearing clothes underneath was fine for the weather and the outfit looks very good. It was nice because the shoe covers attached to the outfit and had a stretchy band that went under his shoe and they stayed in place. Good costume. Read more

I ordered three of these costumes and two of them came complete and brand new but one of them is missing the hat. The package came different as well. What has happened? How can I contact the seller? Still waiting for refund…. Read more

after reading LOTS of reviews of some other crappier tin man costume being much smaller than expected, i was pleasantly surprised by this one...it's actually made of a spandex material that will fit even overweight individuals...i'm 5'10", 210lbs and i was comfortable the entire time...it was not restrictive, as far as movement goes, either... this also has the heart/watch painted on...a bonus if you don't want to spend the extra money on one for the other smaller/crappier costume out there... the funnel hat never stood up very well, but i'm sure if i found a small real funnel to put in it, it would stay up better... This anniversary addition didn't look much like the tin man grom.the movie, it was cheaply made, extremely thin material amd didn't fit allthe way around my husbands shoulder/neck line. He has brod shoulders, so a safety pin did work to close it. Overall I'd give this product 2.5 stars. Should have been $15-$20. We also had to purchase any and all props seperate. Disappointing for sure for such an iconic character. Read more
