I use this costume to go bar hopping. It's fantastic. Fits me well: I'm short and fat. Pro tips: Do not drive with the mask on, no matter how hilarious it is. There is no peripheral vision at all. Chinese fire drills are still fun. Do not wear clothing underneath the costume- you will be hot and sweaty. A bra and underwear is almost too much. The Velcro in the back to open/close the costume is not of good quality. I use safety pins to keep costume on. Recommended you do the same or sew in your own buttons, snaps, zipper, etc. This is very relevant to if you wear anything underneath the costume... one aggressive bear hug and you're naked at a party. This was a hit from the moment I walked in the door with it at karaoke night. The mask gets a little hot and the vision isn't so good, but who cares. It really set the mood for the Chicken Dance. It was almost like wearing pajamas, pretty comfortable. I was able to slip my "water" shoes into the feet, otherwise I might have had to go barefoot with the feet. Not good when it's only 30 degrees out. This was the best costume, at a great price. Read more

Great costume! I bought it for an animal rights protest, and it worked wonderfully! Costume is complete - jumpsuit, full head mask, long red stockings, rubber chicken feet, and red rubber gloves. I needed to cut additional eye holes in order to see better, but that was minor. It's not for suitable for wearing outside in warm weather; you can't wear a lot of clothing underneath it, and I was glad it was rainy and cool when I had it on! The one unfortunate thing: it ties at the top in the back and has two Velcro fasteners. They don't adequately keep the lower back covered, so be sure to wear something light like a camisole underneath, to avoid a gap in the back where you can see skin. Other than that, it's well worth the money, and can be used many times. I'm 5'4" tall and weigh approx. 165 lbs. and the fit was generous. Read more

A few things I do not like about this product. Before we get started, I would like to state I'm roughly 6 foot and weighing about 215 lbs. 1. It sheds all over everything making a big mess. When I attempted to put it on, I was having clumps of the yellow fur shed off of the costume. 2. It was too small. It's advertised that this product is one size fits all, but that wasn't the case with me. Somehow I managed to put on the clothing of the costume but it was a very tight fit. The Feet did not fit me at all as my feet were too big. The mask was also too small. While I could manage to get it on my head, it was so tight I could barely breath. At the very least, if the mask fit, I would have reason to keep it. 3. There was no Velcro, no zipper or anything to fully close the back of the costume aside from ties on the very top. Also, because the costume was to small, it made it impossible for me to reach back and seal it if there was anything back there. Having had a Chicken Suit like this in the past, I know what to expect, but I'm disappointed to say that I did not find it with this product. There's one last thing I would like to mention to close my review. The delivery of the item exceeded the estimated time that this item was expected to take to get to me, so in all fairness I must mention the slow shipping. Read more

As for the fit, it was great. I am 5'11" and 170 pounds and it fit just fine. Overall quality was pretty good as well. That said, there are 2 issues: 1) The straps that hold the feet on are VERY short. I got one foot in just fine (took some finesse), but the strap on the second foot broke despite my best efforts. 2) The mask is awful. You have very limited visibility. You look through slits in the beak, not through the eyes, or mouth, etc. Further, the mouth hole is small. I cut it out to be a big bigger so I could breathe. Its a rubber mask too, so it gets HOT and HUMID in there in no time. Lastly, the back of the head is cut too short, so it sits up off your shoulders, thus showing the back of your real head. All in all..it's ok. I ended up not wearing the mask/gloves for most of the night. Gloves are way too thick, so its hard to do anything with them on. Read more

Upon first glance this costume was awesome. Came will all the pieces shown in picture so not an inch of your skin shows! I wore the costume to work and to a function at my son's school but had the mask off for the majority of the day because it is rather hard to see out of and hard to breath out of.Also the intense chemical smell of the mask & gloves was almost to overwhelming to bear. That being said,I wore the mask for a combined approx 45 minutes in a 4 hour stretch. Almost immediately I noticed my face feeling sort of raw, kind of like a windburn, and I just figured it was because my skin was sensitive. However by lunch time, my lips had gone numb and were tingling and I was feeling faint and light headed. I most definitely had a chemical reaction to the mask. Even my colleagues said they could smell the reek of it when entering the hallway that my office is in:( So sadly, I have to give this costume a low rating despite how awesome it looks because I was hoping to be able to use this costume over and over again. I am a little too afraid to throw it in the wash because of how insanely it sheds, I think there would be nothing left. Read more

This has so many uses it's unbelievable. Whether you want to scare your friends or have a fun Halloween, it's a good purchase. Cons: Feet straps are flimsy and broke quickly with use but I never need them now anyway. The eyes are hard to see out of so it helps to cut the holes a bit bigger. And like any suit, you will get very warm. Pros: Very east to put on and use. It is also lightweight. Read more
