I saw that this was mostly for adults but also a one size fits all. It suited my daughter who is eight just fine. She was Elvis for Halloween and it wa a great. This cape was really the cherry on top. No it’s not gems and rhinestones, the image is printed on,but it gets the point across and it is pretty awesome, especially for dress up or a Halloween costume or for a kid. Read more

This is a nice little printed cape. If you want one that's jewel studded you will pay a TON more. This was perfect for halloween & kids love to play dress up with it now so it's a win. I added elastic to the tips of the cape so it could go around the wrists and not have to hang on to it, also added pins so it would attach to the back of the costume worn under it, the gold chain provided to clip on to the lapel of the cape and go around the neck was a tad small & the cape is heavy enough to be annoying. The changes I made were entirely optional, still a neat cape to complete an elvis suit. I give it 5 stars because the cape still is cheaper than trying to make one yourself & looked great for a halloween costume. Read more

So despite all the bad reviews of this cape, I made the decision to buy it. What arrived was so much worse than I expected. It's true, this is a printed image. The print wasn't even in some places - some faded and smeared spots. Not sure how this passed inspection (oh wait, it probably never went through an inspection). The sewing was like a beginning sewing class project. Threads everywhere and bad serger details. It bubbles on the stitched seems as opposed to lying flat. Lastly, the piece of fabric meant to tie around your neck was about 8 inches in TOTAL! A child would choke with this on. It also had to Velcro attachments. Thankfully, it was on sale and I'm crafty. I hot glued sequins on the image to give it a true Elvis sparkle and I attached more length to the neck tying part so that it's actually wearable by an adult. It is true that if your broad shouldered at all, this will not lay around your shoulders so you'll need to safety pin it in place. I can't imagine most guys or plus sized persons being able to wear it without pinning. It's truly a petite framed/child sized cape. Read more

I ordered this for my husband to wear to our Halloween party. Overall we were pleased with it. There are no actual "gemstones" on the cape but there's a 3D effect so you might be able to trick your treaters! It's a nice polyester knit type material lined with a satin-type material, so the inside has a nice sheen to it. The stitches that hold the two materials together are hidden. There is a neck strap that connects to the cape. This could be designed a little better, maybe something to make it less flimsy and it could use a larger piece of hook and loop aka velcro. The velcro is about a square inch which doesn't really hold well, possibly because it's not a good-quality hook and loop?? My husband has pretty broad shoulders so the cape didn't fit well, even tho it's supposed to be a "one size fits all" type thing. It kept wanting to fall off. And any Elvis fan knows how he posed with his capes. He stretched his arms out and held the cape out so the fans could see the beautiful design. This cape, unfortunately, isn't large enough to be able to do that so you can't be a good showman which is a shame. For a regular-size man, it could be a bit larger. This would be perfect for a younger person or someone with a smaller frame. Like I said, what can you expect for under $20 - the actual Elvis cape? NO! But for a few extra dollars, it could have really knocked it out of the park! I'll keep the cape, even tho he ended up wearing a gold jacket instead. Who knows, maybe I'll wear it while handing out candy! Thank you, thank you very much! TCB Elvis has left the building! Read more

This is a must-have for any late-era Elvis costume! Yeah the bird is just a flat print, not actually rhinestones or sequins. But it's quite striking anyway. It comes with a clip chain to go around your neck, and it actually was big enough to fit my very fat neck. I didn't use it, though, and instead tacked the whole cape on my jacket. The cape doesn't fully drape you like a witches' cape but it's absolutely big enough for an adult. You will definitely look like Elvis! Read more

I'd almost consider this child-sized. Fortunately for my case its not for a 6'+ guy. My wife takes everything Elvis very seriously.... Michael's has assorted sizes rhinestone 13mm~7mm gold/read/blue/silver that really make it look great. Expect to spend upto $40 for rhinestones, but it will cover most of the printed eagle pattern. In our case the glue bled to the inside liner of the cape, my wife would've ripped the seem to glue w/o the liner then sewed the liner back in place. (but it looks like shadows from the rhinestones so is OK) Would be super if it included an appropriately high stiff collar on the cape. This is all so an Elvis (groom) can make a cameo at a bridal shower for 10min and flirt up the bride. Read more

Its cheap but for the money its great. I got tons of compliments!! Its heavy and its hard to wear with the Elvis jumper. I had to hand sew it on but then the weight of it would pull the jumper back all night I had to keep fixing it, but it was still worth it. Read more
