Awesome costume for Halloween. Just a tad bit tight on my shoulders & upper chest area, however still quite functional for many hours of usage. The mask is pretty scary and fits alright. I will have to modify the eye socket area of the mask. The openings are a tad bit small for my likings. This is not a big deal since I'm quite handy when it comes to minor modifications. The glue that holds the black eye patch insert on the inside of the mask is made cheap, however a quick fix with a hot glue gun and it's ready to be worn for multiple hours. Overall I saved myself a few extra bucks from having to purchase at Spirit Halloween or elsewhere which would have been nearly double the amount. Key note: this costume already went up in price within a few days of purchase. Be sure to order ahead of time due to holiday price increases as the date nears Halloween. Read more

Typically I steer clear of pre-packaged Halloween costumes as they tend to look really goofy, fit really poorly, or feel really cheap. (Or, more often, some unfortunate combination of all the above.) However, as a big fan of the Conjuring universe and the Nun in particular, I read some decent reviews which convinced me to take a chance on this costume, and I’m glad I did! As a fairly tall (6’1) and slim (140 lbs) male I ordered an x-large on the side of caution and it fits perfectly. The robe is actually quite heavy and the length is ideal for my long legs, stopping just above my toes, and though a lot of people here seemed to have some minor issues with the plastic mask it rests on my face comfortably enough as-is. The only issue I might foresee running into is that, since your head is kind of wrapped in there and your vision is severely limited, it may be problematic wearing it for any length of time at a party or setting where you’ll want to eat or drink or socialize constantly. It’s not the type of get-up can just slip in and out of quickly as needed, so be sure to get all your cool pictures out of the way early. Other than that I have no complaints, and am actually rather impressed at the quality creep factor and movie-like authenticity of this product, and am happier still that Amazon offered it for about half the retail price. The costume itself is great. As others have noted, the mask is ill-fitting, big, and will need some tweaking to get it to sit properly where I can see out of it. The length is great for me just hitting the floor while barefoot (I’m 5’4”). My major issue is that the costume was clearly worn as it stinks of grown man sweat and the mask has some scuffs. It’s also missing the “leather” belt. I can’t be bothered to return it so I will just give everything a good scrubbing before wearing. I wish people were not allowed to return worn costumes. Read more
