I've never been much of a fan of sweatpants, so I tend to lounge around either in my jeans or just in my underwear. We're headed on a vacation with some friends and we'll be staying in the same AirBnB. They most likely would prefer than I not hang around in my underwear, so I ordered these as an alternative. These pants are very comfortable. I normally wear a 32/30 and ordered these in medium. They fit perfectly. The fabric is very smooth and pleasant feeling. They are nice enough to wear for a quick trip to the grocery store. I personally wouldn't wear these to school, but clothiing tastes vary widely.
