These capris are wonderful. I'm 6' tall and these hit me mid-calf, which is ideal. The cotton fabric is lightweight, soft to the touch, and has a crisp, premium feel. The construction is first rate, and the fit is comfortably loose without being baggy or billowy. There are plenty of pockets that are deep enough to be useful and the drawstring waist, which is also elasticized and wide enough to be comfortable, keeps them securely in place without binding. There is a false fly, which is a nice touch since they don't actually open but would look odd without that detail. I especially like the one-inch cuffs at the bottom hem of each leg, another subtle little detail missing on lesser garments. Depending on what you choose to pair them with on top, they will dress up nicely or reinforce a cultivated casual look with ease. They will keep you cool while you look cool. I have three different pairs of 3/4 length shorts from this company and this style is my favorite of the three and will be the one I'll be repurchasing in other colors. I love the simplicity of the design, comfort, fit, and vibe of these. Big fan of the sewn fly--I don't want or need a functional fly if I have an elastic waist. I also really like the cuff vs a clean hem--it reads as more of a comfortable beachy look, and less new age, fashion-forward.
