Our favorite part about these are the lace-up leg with its added trim—gives the pants an amazing look. The attention to details on these pants make them a stand-out. The waistband is stretchy, comfortable, and gives a lot of room for adjusting for either a tighter or more loose fit. The ties have eye-catching gold beads on the ends. The material is great quality, durable, and the perfect thickness. The fabric is very comfortable and breathable against the skin. They’re ideal for all-day wear, even on warmer days. It checks all the right boxes for looking authentic, feeling soft and comfortable, being thick enough while still being breathable, and being well-made, durable, great quality pants. Fits true to size, machine washes well and we hung up to air dry—no pilling or fading. My son has worn them several days for all-day wear and they’ve held up great. These are super comfortable, fit well, and look great with my Renfaire costume. They seem to keep their color well, and have been holding up as I've tested them. The stretchy waist band, and breathable material really go a long way when these are worn all day. And the ties are sturdy enough to keep the pants up, and cuffs tight on the calves. The pockets are a bit short, so large phones might fall out. But with all good costumes, accessories make them all the better! So consider getting a belt to hold bags and such, and really only use the pockets for smaller items. Read more

The Runcati pants are glorious, they are a wonderful weighty material that hangs well but is still light and comfortable. The drawstring waist makes it easy to fit to size but of course there is only so much stretch. They are a little tighter than usual so if you want them to hang a bit more, then I recommend getting a larger size. I love the addition of the gold stitching at the ankles, my only complaint is that when you tuck it into your boots you can see it! Otherwise great pirate/ren pants, great quality for the price. I belong to several Medieval history groups including the SCA and the Adrian Empire. I regularly perform in front of hundreds at the large Ren Faire here. I’ve gone through my fair share of this type of basic pant. This one is by far, for the price, the best quality I have encountered. It is 100% soft cotton with an almost linen feel to it. It is thick, not see thru. I’m 5’7” and about 230 and the XXL fit me with room to spare. Enough that I could think about going a size down. And it has POCKETS! Attention to detail can be seen with the added trim at the bottom and the hard plastic trim at the end of the laces. Though for me they get hidden with the rest of my gear but it’s extra things that they didn’t have to include but they did. I’ve already ordered a second pair in black. Such a great look! These pants are awesome. The style is fantastic and really makes a fun look for pirate or medieval type get ups. Even the fabric feels like it's traditional. The lace up leg is the best part. The cool part is that you could wear that under a boot for a different look and you wouldn't have all the extra fabric from a regular full legged pair of pants, so you can have that look as well. It's funny how putting something on like this changes your energy. I watch people try on costumes and they become like kids, ready to wield a sword and head off on swashbuckling adventures! This will add a lot to any outfit it's put with. The pockets are a little short on the bottom half so cell phones may fall out, so be careful in that department. You can see my cell phone peeking out of the pocket. That's when it's pushed down to the bottom, so the top of it is above that line where the pocket opens. Read more
