I washed this before use, once with regular cycle and laundry soap, no fabric softener, and then left it in the washer for another cycle with NO soap, just a cup of vinegar dashed in. Air dry, and it came out SOFT, softer than when it arrived. I love it. I did this with a bigger set of Turkish towels I got for my bathroom as well, and everything turned out great. -keep in mind it sheds a bit, so I shook it out outside like a crazy person. After the second wash it is way better and I didn’t have a huge issue with it. It’s pretty windy in the mornings where we live so I think next time I’ll air dry them outside. I’m definitely going to buy another set for my trailer. I got the black and cream, black hides stains, but it stays stain free so far and looks so cute in my bathroom! So much better than the standard chunky white towels that I could never get completely stain free after going through my construction working hubby and my messy kids … and they take up way less room so I have more storage for other things-literally I have five small shelves now open for anything else. I have many Turkish style towel in my home and and know they need to be soaked at least overnight before using. I did this and laundered as usual, however these are not as absorbent as other towels I have purchased. I hope this will improve with time. They look lovely in the bath and the dark grey is quite dark. Read more

The media could not be loaded. These towels are the BOMB! They are so soft, even after multiple washes! Wash amazing - do not come out wrinkled nor the tassels knotted. They dry quickly. They are lightweight, but definitely do not feel cheap in any way. I love the long length as they do not even have to be removed from the towel bar in order to dry your hands - which is super helpful when it is hanging on a wooden towel bar/shelf from Latvia. :) The beige has a pink beige undertone which worked perfectly with this bathroom remodel.
