UPDATE - This filter system is wonderful! We are still very pleased with it. It removes the bad taste that is typical Florida water. We (and our picky dogs) are drinking from our kitchen sink facet and enjoying it! We bought this for our RV so that we can end the hassle of taking bottled water with us. After much research, we determined that this is the best system to meet our needs and give us a level of comfort that we and our beloved dogs can drink the water coming into the RV. This company impressed me because, once I contacted them, they answered all my questions no matter how detailed. They helped me decide which system to purchase to balance whole house filtration with issues like flow rate and cost. There are some fancier looking systems available but all that matters is if the water is safe when you pour it in a glass. I installed it on the back bumper and worked out great. Leave the head of the screws out just a little bit and the whole assembly slides right off for transport. No more chunkies in the faucet. Read more

First off, I want to say I contacted Dave at RV Water Filters before buying this and was very impressed with his customer service. Secondly...I'm done with the "blue pill" filter most RVers use when they 1st get their new (to them) RV as it's all we know. This product is simple to use, makes a LOT of sense, and gives us better tasting water. For drinking we also have a under counter filter that filters even more so that drinking water always taste great. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is I noticed a slight blemish on the threads on one side. Not a biggy, but if I had bought it at a local store I most likely would have gone back and done a switch. BUT...this is installed and working great, so I don't think that little blemish is a problem at all. Very easy to install and NO impact to water pressure in the camper. The water at the campground we stay at quite ofter has a strong odor to it. Something close to rotten eggs. This water system took the odor out! I was concerned about the water pressure. I have used the single blue canister before and then placed in the garbage, as the water pressure was very low.
