Game-changer! Now the only hot tool I use. Worth the price!

Before I bought this I watched a few videos on YT. That took care of the learning curve so by the time it arrived the next morning I had no problem whatsoever using this curling iron like an expert. It is really very easy. Watch the videos. Pros: No more aching hands, arms and wrists from the massive amount of work I was doing with my curling wand No more burns!! Haven't burned myself once. Really simple process that gives me perfect results every time Digital temp setting that seems very accurate. It is impossible to accidentally change the heat setting while curling my hair. Once you select a temp and it starts heating you have to turn it off and back on in order to change that setting. Ceramic barrel which is better for my type 1A hair. Titanium barrel curls don't take well or last in fine hair. Those are for thicker, more coarse hair types. Ceramic is healthier and distributes heat very evenly. Long swivel cord that doesn't tangle Cool tip Half hour auto shutoff Cons: Haven't found any yet I loved the curl I got from using my wand but I was burning and scarring myself every time because I curl my hair before I get dressed so I don't sweat. That left a lot of exposed skin and the burns on my wrists and shoulders were significant. Plus, the wand requires both hands throughout the entire process, often at awkward angles, and that left my hands and arms really sore. My hair is about mid back with long loose layers. I have a lot of hair but it is very fine so I have to use lower heat and a good thermal protectant. It was very easy to accidentally increase the heat setting on my wand without realizing it which made the burns worse. This wonderful tool has made all of that a thing of the past. Addressing concerns I read in other reviews: Curl falls out quickly-use a thermal protectant that offers hold. Kenra makes really good ones and they don't leave ANY residue on your hot tools. Fine hair doesn't retain curl without that. If your hair is thick/coarse a higher heat setting is likely needed but all hair needs a thermal protectant made for your hair type sprayed on dry hair just before using a hot tool. I get curl that lasts for days using 350 degrees and the Kenra thermal spray. Clamp isn't long enough-this is because they're trying to curl sections that are too large. If you are unwilling to curl smaller sections of your hair at a time, you won't like this tool. Very few beautiful and lasting hairstyles can be achieved in 10 minutes. I spend about 40 minutes but I only have to do that every 3 to 5 days. So worth the time. The photo is my hair on day 3. All I do to preserve it is sleep with my hair in a twisted bun and wear a 3 layer shower cap with a micro fiber inner layer. Too hard to figure out-watch videos. It's really easy but you need someone to show you. There are very few really good tools for those of us with fine hair. This is one of the best and easiest to use. Highly recommended. Worth what I paid. Read more

So easy to use and the waves stay in my fine notoriously won't ever hold a curl hair!

There is somewhat of a learning curve with this and I am dyslexic, so that made it a bit more difficult! However, once I figured it out - I am in love, I am telling all my friends about it and want to put waves in every day! They actually stay! Without the hardcore crunchy hairspray and I am just using the big sexy texture line - which I would highly recommend. My hair is short in the back and gets longer in the front (a lob? ) and the smallest barrels works the best for me. The picture was the second time I used it, so it's gotten even better! I want the messy beach wave look and this gives it to me. I would recommend curling in tight tight curls initially, hit it with a cool blast and then touselle because your going to lose those tight curls and end up with waves. (I also suck with doing my hair, so don't live and die by my tips!) I think this would be great for anyone, great gift and once I get better and faster, a nice way to put some volume and texture in my hair! I highly recommend and would repurchase! Read more

Works well

Really nice good quality and curls well. I previously had one that I realise was too large for the curls I wanted . I had given it away. This 3/4” is perfect. Read more

Stopped working after 6 weeks!

Product received on 12/31/24, as of 2/24/25 it is no longer working. I have reached out to beachwaver. It will take then 5 days to respond. I have regularly curled my hair daily for over 20 years. This is the first curling iron that stopped working. Read more

The shoes look great. I bought a size 8 like I would usually wear. The 8 are more like a 9. So be careful about the size you ordered. I should have order a 7.

Beachwave curl and iron.

A bit pricey for the item, it is something that I would think about purchasing again in a larger size to have bigger curls,if I can get cheaper as I Arthritis in my hands. This is definitely a good item to have, it definitely gives you the curls that you want with the press of a button I've seen commercials where it just looks flared out a bit, but these will give you actually bologna Curls, but if you want you just shake your head. And your hair looks nice and wavy and curly. Luv it Read more

Tricky to use

I wanted to love this product, but for me, it was difficult to use. I like the older curling irons with the larger metal clip that holds more hair. I don't know why the new ones come with a shorten clip, but I returned mine and went back to my old curling iron. Read more
