It takes a few tries to get the hang of slipping all the pockets on the funnel quickly but I love this system! I packed meds for over 30 kids for several different administration times at camp last night and it was so much better than my previous method of using zip lock dose bags. The parents even had fun watching the process. Read more

Pretty awesome. It takes a little bit to get it down to a science but so convenient once you figure your system out. Read more

When I travel I hate having to separate my pill cases and stuff them in the travel bag and then have to dig around through all the other stuff to find my daily dosage. With this wonderful tool, I drop in the mixture of supplements with the once-a-day pill I now take and I not only have what I need for the travel time, but extras to have around when my seven-day supply runs out. Why does that always seem to happen on the day when you are late and scrambling around? Well, aside from traveling bags I use these as my backup for those busy times. I like that the bags have the days left blank allowing me to take a sharpie and either mark it as a day or put my coded message in days that I know are different than the norm. For instance, hs stands for a high-stress day so I'll add b-complex to a supply of the regulars plus stress vitamins to go with it. With 700 bags this will last me a good long time and also come in handy if/when my wife requires care so I can help her out as well. This system is so cool, what a great invention, I could write a lot more on how to use these as I also will use them for making up seed mixtures for my garden. I'd give this a 6star if I could. I was hoping this would be an easy solution to refilling my pills. The loading tray is a great idea, but getting it in each of the 7 pockets is very tricky. I've dumped pills a few times when trying to fill. I mostly likely won't use the tray any more, but will just fill the bags by hand to use for traveling as the bags are a nice size and handy. I'm not sure what the regular use case for this is, but I like to occasionally make my own little pill packets to have some stored medication on hand, whether in hiking pack or in my wallet. Purchasing prefilled packets gets expensive, and tossing a couple of ibuprofen into a pouch myself is more convenient, but this has left me piecing together ziploc bags or heat sealing small sections of bags from my vacuum sealer. Enter this item, which seems like it might be good for a facility that needs to measure out and store LOTS of pills at once. Since I have an upcoming trip and have a whole new set of supplements to take, I decided to try it out instead of bringing along a pill organizer. Loading was pretty east: fit the ends of the 'filler' into the pockets, drop pills in, and tilt to fill. Things got a little trickier for me here, as the width of all 7 pockets at once is far longer than my vacuum sealer heating element. Balancing the packets at the correct angle to hold everything in place and getting lined up was also tricky, but then that's not what the vacuum sealer is intended for. In the end, I just did 2 overlapping sections of sealing, and everything sealed up nicely. There is no reason one couldn't simply separate the packets and seal them in smaller numbers at a time, but in my case, I wanted a week's worth in one strip. The plastic pouches are a sort of crispy plastic which melts easily, but also tears easily. This is good for opening after being sealed, but makes me concerned about tearing when separating the packets. So far, this hasn't been an issue, but I haven't used them very much, so I may have to update after my trip. Overall, this is a neat idea, but I'm still not quite clear on the use case. If it's for a large complex needing to dose out a lot of medication on a regular basis, the inability to get refills of just the bags (that I can find) will drive up the cost pretty quickly over time. For an individual needing occasional packets, the whole system including the loading tray is pretty large, and I personally would prefer just being able to pick up a smaller quantity of bags to hand-fill. It's a neat idea, not too expensive, but long-term usage is a concern. Read more

I take pills in the morning and at night before bed. Being able to be able to keep all the bags for night on my night stand is a plus. There were times I would forget to take them from my pill box to the bedroom so I had to walk all the way back to the living room to get them. I had two small issues. One was getting the 'loader' into the pill bags, but once in it was easy to add the pills to the loader and then just tip it up so that the pills slide into the bags. I used my heat sealer to close the bags which couldn't have been easier. Second was that when separating the bags I ran into a problem about 2/3rds of the way down. It wouldn't tear apart and if I tried to force it, it would tear the bag open instead. So I ended up having to cut the bag at that point to get them to separate. Other than those two issues I do like having my medications this way. It is convenient for me and since I label each day it's easy for me to keep track of my daily usage. Read more

I ordered this to be used specifically for my gummy vitamins. I still use a more sustainable reusable pill case for my hard pills and capsules. But I had to get these bags because I noticed that my calcium pills when stored and touching my gummies were hardening my gummies (weird) and my multi vitamins were making my gummies taste bad. These sealable plastic/cellophane bags are great and have solved my issue of maintaining the integrity of my gummy vitamins. I ordered the small bags. It’s small. 3 gummies barely fit and I have to use my fingers to push and arrange the gummies to fit. I should’ve ordered a larger size. It would save time in filling and sealing. The 7 attached bags do not fit in my food saver. I used my hair flat iron easily. Read more
