These were just what I had been looking for in the lamps for a guest bedroom: slender and tall, with green bases and 3-way switches. They arrived yesterday, 2 days earlier than expected. The lamps were well packaged and easy to put together. All I had to do was install the harps and shades, and screw in the bulbs. The only issue was that the lamps do not have 3-way switches, which are listed as a “Special Feature” in the item description. I put the lamps in the bedroom and gave myself a day to look at them and think about it. This evening, I requested a call from customer service, which came immediately. Esther listened as I explained that while the lamp switches are not as described, I did not want to return the lamps because I like them very much; they look really nice in this guest room. I was not disappointed in the lamps, only the switches. Esther put me on hold for several minutes to see what she could do for me, and then offered me a credit on the cost of the lamps. I was satisfied with that and pleased with the excellent customer service. She credited my credit card immediately and sent a confirmation email, making sure I had it while we were still on the phone. These lamps are beautiful! Ordered for guest room but I loved them so much they went in my living room. They are sturdy, well made and graceful. The green color is very rich looking. Minimal parts to put together, I did both in 10 minutes. The lampshades are perfect for the base and I love the gold band around the bottom of the base. Let me start out by saying I got the orange lamps through Amazon Warehouse Deals for only $54. I Likely wouldn’t have purchased them for the original price (currently $139). Even though they are used, I don’t see a thing wrong with them. I was a little confused about how to put them together, but that’s just because I had never bought lamps online before. Once I figured it out, it was super simple. They even came with bulbs! At first I thought they were might be a bit too big, but now I love how they balance out the big picture I have hanging on the wall behind my couch. They almost look like artwork themselves. So would I recommend them? Yes! Though I don’t know if I could tell someone to buy them new for $139, just because it’s hard for me to justify that much money for lamps. I am SO glad I decided to go ahead and order these lamps! The reviews were a little mixed, so I thought if they don't work, I can always return them, and purchased. They're beautiful!!! I needed some height on our entry console table, and chose these lamps because they were nice and tall and thin. They came with the two bases, two lampshades (well wrapped in cellophane), two harps, two finials and even two lightbulbs. I don't like the finials much (as they're very shiny and feel like their made of plastic), but I cannot see them, and doubt anyone will ever notice them.
