If classy is what you're looking for, look no further. Hands down the best lamp for my office. Easy to assemble. I LOVE that the lamp shade is already put together and looks high end. I have an issue with lamps at high price points that come with lamp shades you have to assemble, they look fake and cheap, that is not the case here. This was perfect for our living room, needed a reading nook lamp. The design is gorgeous we bought the silver body style. Because I was trying to match this with our other silver body lamps in our home. These lamps are more of a round shape, table lamps. I'm very excited, taller than I imagined but very functional. Gorgeous lamp and pretty shade. Extremely easy to put together and stand straight. It is no wonder that this lamp is often out of stock and not just at Amazon. Home Depot sells this lamp too and often out of stock at H D. I had this lamp in my wish list for a couple of months and as soon as it became available I jumped at the chance and glad that I did b/c it was soon out of stock again, or $10 more than I paid. this product is utterly defective and the seller refuses to take any responsibility. It was impossible to put together properly because the parts were poorly made. Upon trying to return it, I was charged $71 to ship it back - almost the entire price of the lamp itself. I asked the seller to provide a free return label a week ago and I have yet to receive a response. Amazon said they can't do anything about it because this is an independent seller. I am shocked that I am literally losing my own money over a product that was delivered to me broken. Stay away (and don't even try buying this lamp from another site or seller - I did that before purchasing this one and it was ALSO broken. The silver tone Brushed Nickel is beautiful, easy to out together and looks much more expensive. You simply twist the sections together. The cord is already threaded you just need to pull it down through the lamp as you go. There is one slight dent in the true to white shade (not off white). Don’t accidentally through the harp away, it’s tucked into a corner of the box. Comes in a smallish box, easy for me to handle. The lamp has a good weight to it so it doesn’t rock and roll on the carpet in my bedroom. I highly recommend it. Read more
