I bought these as lamps for my nightstands and they are gorgeous. The stone base just glows when the light (above) is on. They are so romantic and stylish. I usually try to economize on lighting when I can, but these lights truly add so much to the overall look of our room, it definitely is money well spent. They are very heavy lamps so make sure you have a nice sturdy piece of furniture you are resting them on. They also were well packaged. Read more

The finial screw that holds the shade the insert in it was made crooked. My husband bent it to make it fit better.I was actually going to see how I liked it and order a second one. The price went up so I ordered it somewhere else. Google will find the best price. I received the second one today. The finial is fine on it but it has a black streak across the front. I hope it will come off with a magic eraser. It is a heavy nice lamp though. I still highly recommend it because it is a beautiful lamp. The gold was darker than it looks like it is online. The design of this lamp is beautiful but the actual product is not the best quality. I ordered two of these lamps and out of the box there were slight chips along the top edges and corners of the marble. Once I had them set up and turned on, I noticed that one shade was yellowed around the outside edges and the other shade was a slightly different color. I switched the bulbs that came with the lamps to two identical bulbs I had and the color difference was still evident. I decided that I was trying too hard to like them and that the quality did not match the price point. I was sad to return both lamps because I really did like the design. Read more
