The value of this given the price is great. It feels heavy and strong. It comes with two keys but also a programmable keypad that can take two PIN numbers for entry. While small, it is large enough to hold several smaller items, such as jewelry, handguns, or some documents (if they are small or can be folded). It is easy to program a PIN by simply inserting batteries, pressing a button on the inside of the door, and then just putting the PIN in and pressing #. I am no expert with safes, but the only easy way I see that someone might break this open is if they were able to push the keypad inward and then manage to extract it's contents through the keypad hole. The keypad and battery area on the back of the door are just hard plastic. I love that it comes with screws and there are screw holes in the back and bottom of it so it can be secured to a wall or surface, so no one is going to be taking it anywhere easily. Read more
