These have become my go-to for use with dentures. The problem I found with using a toothbrush or denture toothbrush for cleaning dentures is that the adhesive used in the dentures tends to not rinse cleanly from the bristles of the brush, and the next day you realize your toothbrush bristles are now stuck together. Which makes a longer cleaning process. Enter these handy swabs! The are perfectly sized to reach everywhere a toothbrush would, so they fit perfect into the curves of dentures. The sponge itself is what I would rate a medium firmness. They are also gentle enough to be able to use to remove the denture adhesive remains from the gums as well. Just be sure to wet it thoroughly or it feels a bit scratchy on the gums. The stick is a rigid plastic, which is fantastic as it doesn't become waterlogged and bendy like cardboard ones do when wet. The design of these shows me there was thought put into them. Having each one individually packaged means I can keep them in a holder next to the denture cleaning supplies and not worry about putting a swab into my mouth or on dentures that isn't sanitary. I'm super impressed, and these are now a staple in the bathroom. Read more

In the past I've used the ones with the rectangular wavy head which are soft and not very dense. These ones have a smaller cylindrical sponge which is denser. I'll be using these for cleaning and the head shape and density is much better than the rectangular ones. I tried pulling the sponge off the stick to see how strong it is and eventually the top piece of the sponge tore off and the glued part stayed on. I don't see these falling apart easily when used roughly for cleaning items. Read more

As a dental hygienist in a family practice, my wife sees patients of all ages and all needs. These Oral Care Swabs are great for bed bound patients or patients that have difficulty getting to the sink. She first tried them on herself and was surprised that they are soft and gentle. She says she was pretty aggressive and pushed around purposely hitting the ramus and buccal mucosa which were both soft and comfortable, she couldn't feel the stick inside at all. They are still abrasive enough to remove plaque and food debris though. She recommends these for elderly patients and patients with dementia because they are often non compliant and do not like their teeth brushed with a tooth brush. She has given these out as samples and recommend patients to order from this brand. Read more

These Qyoswab Safety Oral Care Swabs 50 PCS are OK as Oral swabs. They are not treated with toothpaste, and that can be a good thing. In Elder care, or severely injured, sometimes all you can do to brush teeth is to use a swab. I have other swabs to compare them with, and I would have given these 4 stars, but they really are OK for the intended purpose. I firmly pulled on the swab, and could not get it off the stick! “But wait! There’s More!” You get 50 in the box and they are individually wrapped. You can put them in a purse or pocket if you travel, and use them yourself! If you do stage, cosplay, or Halloween make up, you will find these useful for all kinds of reasons. You can “paint” wound reproductions on yourself or characters, and even use them to texture built up prosthetics! I also discovered they are great for reaching into small crevices and folds for just about anything you need to clean. When you need to clean a medical device, you will find these great at getting into those hard to reach areas! Once you use one for other than an oral swab, you too will discover all kinds of uses for them! And yes! They are OK for oral swabs! These really are OK, with multiple uses! Read more
