Quality Tool That is a Pleasure to Use

The first indication of quality is that this set comes in a solid aluminum case. It measures 1-3/4” square by 7” long. Pressing a button on the end releases the four-sided tray that holds the screwdriver and bits. The screwdriver is quite small with a 5/8” rounded square profile. It is also of strong aluminum construction with a nicely textured grey/green finish. The USB-C charging port is located on the rear end and a USB-A to USB-C charging cable is included. The driver has a power button that turns it on and then selects four torque settings. An illuminated LCD display shows the torque setting, battery level and battery charging progress. In the “0” setting the unit functions as a manual driver. “1” through “3” provide progressively more torque. The two-position forward/reverse switch is nicely placed for pressing with your thumb or forefinger. This switch also activates a four-LED work light around the bit. The quality and the selection of bits is outstanding. They exhibit precise machining and are made of hardened tool steel. The 12 larger bits are 35mm in length and each has a slot in the tray where it is securely held in place magnetically. The 40 smaller bits – and we are talking some REALLY small sizes – snap securely into an ingenious rotating holder. The profile of each bit is printed in white next to its storage location. A nice set of forceps and a prying tool are also included. For situation where you need or don’t need for the bit to be magnetized, there are slots to pull the bit through to add or remove magnetism. This kit is designed for work on small devices like watches, jewelry, electronics and eyeglasses. It is not designed for or capable of working on furniture as the item description would lead you to believe. If you sometimes find yourself needing to remove a tiny screw with an unusual head on it, this set belongs in your toolkit. This in an excellent mini driver and bit set for working on small devices with tiny screws. Read more

Precision Electronics Tool with Low Torque Limits

Build and Display The Saker Electric Screwdriver is a solid, lightweight tool designed specifically for small-scale work like phones, laptops, and watches. The built-in OLED screen is a high-utility feature; it clearly shows your torque setting and battery status so you aren't guessing mid-job. The 500mAh battery and Type-C charging are standard, and the 160 RPM motor is stable for repetitive, low-resistance tasks. The Torque Reality This is not a tool for furniture assembly or anything involving wood screws. The electric torque tops out at 0.3 N·m. I found that it often struggles with factory-tightened screws; you will likely have to break the screw loose manually (it supports up to 3 N·m manual torque) before the motor can take over. For a systematic user, this extra step is a minor annoyance, but it's a necessary limitation to avoid stripping delicate electronics. Case Design and Bit Assortment The 57-in-1 set comes in a pop-up magnetic case that keeps the 52 S2 steel bits organized. The magnetic storage is reliable—bits don't fall out even if the case is jostled. One smart design choice is the spinning bit section, which allows you to pack more variety into a smaller footprint. However, the outer cover is very snug; you often have to turn it upside down and let gravity help you slide the inner kit out, which feels like a slight engineering oversight. Functional Annoyances The biggest flaw in the kit's organization is the lack of space for the charging cable. While the case holds the driver and bits perfectly, you have to store the USB-C cable separately, which increases the chance of losing it. Also, while it includes 52 bits, most are the short style; if you're working on a device with deep-set screws, the driver's girth might prevent you from reaching them even with the longer bits. Final Verdict The Saker Precision Set is a great gift or a "desk drawer" tool for tinkering with electronics. It offers better visual feedback than most mini-drivers thanks to the screen. Just don't expect it to do the heavy lifting—it’s a precision instrument, and you should treat it as one by doing the initial loosening and final tightening by hand. Read more

Cool, compact tool set

This is a really nice looking and compact power driver for small and mini hardware. There are so many choices for the perfect fit to any small fastener we love the variety and utility of the bits and tool as a whole. The entire tool set is contained in a compact box, with the exception of the charging cable. I labeled that cable so we’ll remember which came with it. The unit has some heft to it so it feels very sturdy, and we like that it protects the power driver itself. Its great that it functions wire-free so you can manage the tool and chosen bit inside and around tight spaces. We like the small light to help you focus and the magnetic quality to help hold and catch the tiny hardware. For us, battery life is fine because it will likely not be used for hours at a time, so recharging it will be easy. I like that the driver unit is more substantial to hold that those teeny-tiny mini-screwdrivers and does the turning for you. Truth be told, I gave it to my husband and he ooh/aahed over it, but I am a bit of a tool addict myself. I’m happy to have this multi-tool in our arsenal and though its not cheap at $70 I think the functionality and utility make it well worth it. Especially since you have so many bits to choose from, it is very compact and lightweight to use, and it just looks so cool when you pop it open and spin the bit cartridge. Perfect gift for the handy-person in your life who already has everything. Read more
