This specific design proves truly innovative thought went into making this set because the typical “side pockets” on the outside of the “skirt” would have looked bulky and not held your items securely. Hence, major props for this functional and utilitarian design choice. I’m 6 ft tall and around 300 lbs, and it fit close to the body without feeling tight anywhere. Because of my height, the skirt is a little short on me, but the built-in shorts give some peace of mind. The shorts seem mainly designed to help keep the skirt from riding up while walking. The inseam is quite short though, so my thighs still touch. People with larger thighs may still experience some chafing depending on their body type. The material feels soft and comfortable against the skin. The top is labeled as a crew neck with cap sleeves, but it feels closer to a sleeveless top than a traditional T-shirt style because there’s no shoulder seam. The shorts have pockets on both sides, which is a nice feature, although I did find myself wishing the skirt itself had pockets so I wouldn’t have to lift the skirt to access them. Overall, this is a great set for summer, travel, or casual days. It’s comfortable, flattering, and fits true to size. Just be aware that the skort runs a little short, especially if you’re tall. This is a super cute top and skort set made of a lightweight performance fabric. Both pieces are really cute, though I am likely to wear them separately with other coordinating outfit pieces. The skort is a cute short length which I feel comfortable wearing since it does have the shorts underneath. The tie string at the waist reinforces a gentle elastic that fits snugly enough but doesn’t squeeze. The top has a nice sleeve/sleeveless design. The cut makes arm holes at the seam of the front and back, stitched securely to make a hem. But there is no separate sleeve part. It extends to the end of my shoulders because that is the width of the shirt body. I like this design surprisingly well. Even my husband said it looked especially nice and a little bit different in a good way. The color is also really nice, and I think both pieces will be staples throughout spring and summer.
