I recently purchased this for a 4-day business trip to replace an old soft side garment bag. I'm not gonna lie it is a big suitcase but I wanted something to protect my suits on the trip and it worked perfectly with tons of room to spare. One of the cool features is an AirTag holder built into the bag. I rarely check luggage but was glad to know where my luggage was. I flew from Jax to NoLa and back but the luggage monkeys didn't hurt the bag other than some small scuffs. I probably won't use this often but am glad to have a better bag than my old soft side! I still feel soft sided provides me more flexibility, and the hardsided also gets easily marked or scratched. It’s too large for all airlines to fit COMFORTABLY. It can barely squeeze into southwest. It’s heavy compared to other carry ons, the wheels aren’t that great, the front door seems like a good idea but, it’s got 1 latch point to the side will bulge out. Biggest complaint, the handles. I do like the TSA lock on the top side. And both internal compartments have zipper closers rather than just straps on the right open side. But with some of the pockets and "covers" left me wondering what I'd use them for. It is Samsonite and the quality shows. However, if your fingernails are longer than 1/2" from cuticle out, forget this suitcase. All three handles are a problem. The fixed handles are so close to the case that you'll have serious difficulty grabbing a handle. Worse, the telescoping handle "button" that you press to pull it up is encased in some form of soft plastic and recessed so that it's impossible for you to simply press and pull the handle up. I had to stand sideways to get enough leverage and press hard...and that's not practical. Returned it. Oh, the "free" return is only if you take it to certain locations - not my usual and more convenient choices. Read more

AUG 2025 Took this beautiful and sturdy piece on a 2 week cruise to Alaska. Made it safely to and from the ship, but be careful on luggage size vs trunk. I had this and the larger blue glider and they barely fit into the trunk of a Jag suv Waymo w/the samsonite weekender bag. Neg: Have to fight the big road cracks, yellow bumps, and train tracks of urban transit. My escalating handle sticks a bit and you don’t have time to waste fiddling with it. No luggage cover made by Samsonite to fix 22”found yet, so has first smudge/scratch. Positive: rolls great even over rough terrain as long as the divots/holes are not wider than the wheels. Great storage and organization and large wet bag for swimsuit or excessive conditioner transport. Read more
