I purchased this luggage set during the October Prime Day sale at a significant discount. The larger suitcase is very spacious and can hold an impressive amount—over 20 pairs of jeans along with 3 coats and 5 hoodies. The smaller suitcase is an ideal size for a week-long business trip. While some bags marketed as “carry-on” end up being oversized at the airport, this one truly meets carry-on requirements. I had no issues bringing it on board with Alaska and United, and I expect it will be acceptable with most other airlines as well. Regarding scratch resistance, it is not completely scratch-proof when checked, but no hard-shell luggage truly is unless carried on. For me, its level of durability is perfectly acceptable. Both suitcases are easy to use once the lock is set for the first time. I do not prioritize aesthetics as long as the luggage performs well, and in that respect, I appreciate the simple and functional design. The only drawback is that the smaller suitcase does not include a built-in lock. Although it is designed for carry-on use, there may be occasions when it needs to be checked, in which case additional security would be beneficial. I purchased a separate lock to address this. It would be an improvement if Samsonite included a lock on the smaller suitcase as well. Read more

I used this luggage for approximately 6 trips Nov 2025 and the zipper came off completely. I used it for 4 months. I tried to do the warranty but no one would answer or reply. I thought I was getting a great deal because its Samsonite but this is cheaply made. Invest in a better one. Read more
