It's a great monitor but there isn't enough 3D content since is built on software and no hardware involved. Other than that movies look great as well as my video games. I'm not sure if this is worth buying and paying a premium price for how I use it. Personal choice. Read more

I give the Samsung G90XF 4K Glasses Free 3D Monitor 4 out of 5 stars. Samsung needed to add 3D Bluray discs compatibility to be able to be viewed on this monitor. I hope they can add it by future firmware update. The 3D effect is Awesome!!! It has great 3D poput effect! Read more

If you enjoy 3D and have the budget, this monitor is worth the price. Currently, only a few games officially support it, but the 3D effect significantly enhances immersion by adding depth and pop-out to those 'flat' games. Samsung plans to add about 50 supported games by the end of 2025 Read more

The claim of turning 2d to 3d is false and frustrating waste of time with a double implanted unmerged image and no conversion from 3d stereoscopic either Read more

Issue 1: Samsung has not released the SDK for the LeiaSR 3d stuff. LeiaSR has also removed their SDK from public downloads and limited it to partners, so this means you likely won't find innovate and interesting 3D apps for your monitor, or be able to develop your own as a hobby project. Lame. Issue 2: The black screen (black wallpaper, no icons) becomes half gray if you move your mouse onto it. Could see that annoying people, it's like it doesn't do local dimming at all. Read more

When the 3D works, it looks great, but unfortunately, it's locked behind their software. You can't enable the 3D on your own, it will only active when the software can detect a potential 3D image. I work in 3D graphics and putting a full SBS image on the screen is not activating the 3D mode. Until they give us a "3D On/Off" button, I cannot recommend this monitor. Read more

Glasses free 3D is a cool feature but there is a limited amount of games offered to utilize this feature. It uses cameras for face tracking to determine your head position that allows you to have that 3D experience without having to be dead center of the monitor. Moving your head changes the perspective of the 3D and the tracking delay to correct the perspective shift makes the image blurry for a fraction of a second but if you move a lot it adds up. It looks nice for an IPS monitor. The glossy finish makes for a better picture quality in low light environments. Though suffers from glare in bright environments. The edge lighting is a cool feature: but with the size of the screen and the limited lighting sections, the effect bleeds together. Ultimately, I turned it off as it lagged behind the action of my games. The built in speakers are a nice option to have. Though I tend to use my gaming headset. The Reality HUB requirement adds extraneous steps to launch any 3D games, as the 3D is not enabled without it for full screen applications. It is expensive for a IPS monitor but the 3D option justifies the high cost, though I would really try to catch it on a sale, as I have seen the price fluctuate between $1699-$1999. Read more
