Bought these to replace a pair of Beats that cost 10x as much and actually prefer the AKGs. The Beats were just too bass heavy and unbalanced while the AKGs have nice, bright mids and highs with crisp bass that punches more than it rumbles. They sit about flush with my earlobe and have been less prone to falling out of my ear than the Beats. Can't speak to durability since I just received them, but the majority of the cable is covered in braided fabric and the overall build quality speaks to a mid-range headphone rather than what's typically a throwaway in the sub $10 range. I fell in love with the original pair that came with my phone, and I think these are counterfeit. The high end is pretty noticeably less crisp, but has good bass response for $7 earbuds. Maybe it's because I've had some higher end earbuds since I lost the pair that came with my phone, so if anyone can legitimately verify these are real then I'll change my review. Read more

They have already broken. I can no longer hear out of the right side. The plug is also loose. These are worth about 5 dollars. If you are expecting more, then do not buy theses. Read more
