The sound is very close to the original Samsung AKG heaphones, but these are fake. Everything looks identical but the DAC is not the same. If you connect your original headset to a PC, open the Sound Control Panel and open the headset Properties, you'll notice that the available sample rate and bith depth is just old style CD quality 16bit, while the original headset has up to Studio quality 32bit and 96khz. Also, each time the original headset is connected to your Samsung phone, it'll check for firmware updates, this one won't. I would say good try making these fakes, but the DAC gives it away. great for when you're gen X but want to pretend you're gen Z coded. actually, this gen X just got transported back to his old samsung blackjack and numerous nokia and sony ericcsons with their wired ear buds. audio is the usual akg profile - clear highs and mid with neutral bass (definitely not a sony). can't control volume with inline controls and that's the only other bummer. use these with samsung z flip 6 for when my wireless buds run out charge or when using public transit. Love this product! Its cheaper than the black counter part and works just as well! Has great sound quality, also has what I would say normal noise cancelation. And the headphones aren't uncomfortable in any way! A few downsides: My headphones didn't come with the different sized ear pieces, so I had to make do with those already attached. Also the point that they are white. While they don't get discolored or look dirty after use, it should be noted that you can transfer highlighter and sharpie to them. Bottom line up front, these are good earphones so long as they work, but they about as robust as an ice cube in a Tucson summer. The good: the earphones come in OEM packaging and initially work as designed. They are comfortable, have good but not great sound quality, and seem to provide an adequate listening experience for in ear wired earbuds. The bad: I found that they tend to fall out of my ears too easily, even when properly fitted. I also do not like the fact that you cannot simultaneously charge your device while using the ear buds. That having been said, this is a common design flaw for most modern flagship phones and is not unique to these particular ear buds. The ugly. These earphones broke in less than three weeks of light use and without any abuse or negligence. They started with the remote control module and right ear bud failing. The next day, the whole assembly stopped working entirely and my phone stopped recognizing when they were plugged in. From other reviews, I know that this is not a unique experience and that quality control can be spotty. This is a shame as I genuinely love Samsung devices and want them all to be as successful and high quality as my phones and tablets that I get from them. Update on 13 May. Customer service has responded to my service request. The options offered were a choice between a replacement or a refund. I chose the replacement. They work. They are just ok. I suppose for the price they are acceptable. Don’t be expecting stellar sound quality. No bass. Tried with 2 different devices and messed around with audio settings so it must be these headphones. Not very comfortable either. They come with different size silicone earpieces but they still feel like they are too heavy on the ends so they fall out unless you cram them way in which makes them hurt. Read more

To be honest, I never wanted to upgrade my phone because there was no longer regular headphone jacks. But I'm so happy I found this USB-C earbuds. They are perfect, great sound quality, and comfortable! Not much sound cancellation but like I mentioned they sit fairly comfortable and snug in your ears. Definitely recommend! Read more
