Apparently these buds are very subjective depending upon fit. However, they work perfectly for me. I actually bought them as an 'extra' Christmas gift for my daughter in addition to a new Samsung phone. To be proactive I ordered foam covers and silicone covers with hooks just in case they're a loose fit for her. I personally like an open ear design because they feel more natural, allow my ears to 'breathe', and I like to be aware of my surroundings. However, if you want completely immersive sound with as little ambient noise as possible then these buds are not for you. I personally use Pixel Pro 2 buds and, I have to say, the ANC on the Samsung Buds 3 is pretty much the same. The Buds 3 just let in more ambient noise by design but as far as what they actively filter that's about the same as my Pixel Pro 2 buds. Regular random sounds come through but any steady monotonous sounds, like an oscillating fan or the air purifier in the corner, sound like they've just been turned off. My Samsung Buds 3 came in the original packaging and had been resealed. The listing says they're from Latin America but mine have a sticker on them indicating they're from the United Arab Emirates. Not that it matters. Just saying. The gestures on the stems are fine but the voice commands is where it's really at. The voice commands work faster and more smoothly than the gestures and I love that you don't have to use a prompt phrase, like Hey Google. You simply say Pause/Play Music, Next/Previous Song, and Volume Up/Down. Then it instantly happens! (At least if you're using a Samsung phone. They slip out very easy and the controls are very hit or miss. Sound isnt terrible when theyre in however keeping them in is where its a pain in the rear. If youre planning on not moving your head at all then these are for you, if youre like everyone else and move your noggin id pick something else up. Read more

I used the Buds 2 for calls and YouTube while working, but I misplaced those. I got these for the same purpose and they are great. The noise cancelation is superb and sound quality is very good.
