An Enhypen ad caught my eye for these. I will buy whatever they tell me to, generally. The translation feature was the thing I most (still only vaguely) interested in, and it didn't really work. I then was hoping to get really good functionality with my Galaxy, the way I used to with my Airpods when I was on iOS. Not really. Didn't really work out. Then there was an intermittent charging problem from the beginning, so I took them to get serviced before the return window closed. They serviced them, got them back a few days later, issue still there. I reached out to Samsung, they refused to accept them as a return, as we were outside that window by that point. They then convinced me to try to have them fixed again. I mail them in. A few days later, they proceed to tell me that they won't be repaired without payment, because they have detected water damage. All I do all day is sit at my desk and work. They sit at my desk and work with me. They were being repaired more than they were here. I don't have kids, I don't live an active lifestyle, my desk is covered in paper and other expensive equipment - I didn't spill anything on them. They're straight up lying in order to void the warranty. The buds had the charging problem from the beginning! The first repair techs didn't find water damage, either, so why do they think they can lie about it now? I made my purchase directly through Samsung, and I have now filed all of the documentation of my repair orders with my credit card company. Even if I don't get my money back, I'm going to do what I can to make sure Samsung knows about this. It's dehumanizing to work as hard as I do to then spend money on something that doesn't work and then be lied to about my own behavior and experiences. It's unacceptable. Don't buy them. Read more
