This television is by far the most impressive tv that I have watched in a long time. When you think it can't get any better throw in a 4k blu ray. Of course you will have to spring for the upgrade in the 4k blu ray player I did. In my opinion Samsungs has the best one out there for the money. Set up is easy. Wireless connection was a breeze !!! This television is absolutely amazing when you think it can't get any better then bam something else happens in a movie that blows your mind. You say damn I would of never saw that before !!! In my opinion I would recommend this television to anyone who wants quality you get what you pay for !!! Same goes for the 4k blu ray player. Read more

This has to be the smartest most fantastic TV I have ever known. The remote took me about a day to become comfortable with, but so nice being able to control everything so smoothly. Bouncing from TV to 4k blu ray to Netflix or Amazon is literally lightning fast. I liken it to when I finally began using SSD in my laptop and upgraded ram to 32. Colors are vibrant, the picture modes are easy to switch between. It was even smart enough to know how to control my UVERSE cable box. Amazon did a great job of delivering on-time using enhanced scheduled delivery. My friends were very complimentary of both the design and performance of this device. Read more

While the TV is nice, the OneConnect mini is HORRIBLE. I want to be able to have audio out simultaneously to both a Bose home theater AND wireless headset. For those of you with elderly parents, i should not need to explain my reasons "why". But on the UN65KS9500 with the OneConnect Mini, there is absolutely no way to do this... not via analog audio (no jack either on the TV or the OneConnect)... not via bluetooth because they can only power one or the other (home theater via optical out OR Bluetooth, but NOT BOTH)... so it is Bluetooth and TV speakers OR Bose Home Theater. for a $3000 TV, this is just absurd! I have talked with Samsung and their online support if awful... not very technical and english is definitely not their first (or second) language. They have no solution. I have headsets on all our TVs, but this one. Awful. Read more

Had this TV for 4 years. Works flawlessly. I saw other review that said picture was blotchy and squared off in places. That's because they didn't have the proper voltage going to it. It happened to me also so I took the receptacle out and could tell that the wires were not making good contact. Once I got the proper voltage and amperage allowed to go to the wires it's work flawlessly. Before I read about the voltage lost can cause that to happen half of my TV on the left side had gone out. And I know that's a characteristic of TVs going bad. But I'd only had this TV for a short amount of time and so I thought maybe something else was wrong other than it just wearing out. And so now a year later after I fix my receptacle it works perfectly Read more

The TV is wonderful and working in good order so far. I wrote a prolonged amount of feedback on the delivery service, which was subpar. I feel OK, because I purchased the protection plan with the TV. It is huge and it is a perfect sized TV for her family room. Five stars for the TV and three stores for the delivery service, which averages out to four stars. Read more

This TV is head and shoulders better than my previous Samsung 8000 series. Better speakers, better picture quality. However, the remote takes a little bit to get used to. No big deal. The curve panel is gorgeous and the picture amazing. I'm glad I got this set. Read more

I have had this set for about two months and am really impressed with the picture quality. Youtube has a 4K channel that features videos done in 4k hires. There are a lot of nature photography videos and most of them are really spectacular in brightness, definition, and especially color rendition. I am still trying to figure out how they can get the kind of audio this produces from such a thin device, especially the bass. Having said that, there are a few gotchas that Samsung doesn't mention in the advertising copy. The remote can be used to move the cursor around and it has an on-screen keyboard for entering text. But it is a real pain in the ass to use because you have to use the cursor motion buttons to move the cursor and then click on letter by letter. I tried to use a 2.4 Ghz wireless keyboard, but when I plugged the transceiver into a usb port, it didn't recognize it. Apparently, it accepts bluetooth only. So I bought a Logitech K830 bluetooth keyboard. But when I tried to pair using the tv utility, it didn't recognize it. I contacted Samsung support, and was told that the Logitech keyboard wasn't compatible but a Samsung keyboard would work. I have seen nothing in any of the Samsung literature that says only certain keyboards would work with the set. Another thing I found out after the fact is that after running some internet speed tests at several sites, the wireless adapter was only getting around 1 Mbps download speed. This on a 50 Mbps cable connection. I contacted Samsung support and was told that the adapter didn't have the capability of a pc network adapter and that 1 Mbps was correct. Which means that when you are streaming video from the web, it will occasionally freeze and wait for the adapter to catch up. Nothing about that in their literature either. Every now and then, the network adapter will drop the internet connection all by itself. Samsung's solution for that was to reboot the tv. And occasionally, maybe two or three times a day, the video will commence a very noticeable vertical jitter. Samsung's solution? Reboot the tv. It's too bad that Samsung did such a great job on the picture and audio and then dropped the ball on some of the other features of the set. Read more

Great Picture! My first Samsung purchase and it does not disappoint. Previously had a Vizio and after 2 years picture started to go out. I decided to spend the extra money this time and found out you definitely get what you pay for. Read more
