I've been buying San Fransisco Bay coffee for several years. I buy it ground, whole, and in K-cup form. I like dark roast best, so I usually buy their espresso, french roast, or my favorite, Dark Italian Roast. I bought this variety pack because it was on sale and because my husband usually drinks medium and light roasts. Hazelnut is never my thing, but a family member loves hazelnut so I figured I would gift this portion to them. So basically this set includes a little bit of everything. I like how the cups are packaged in sets of 10. 20 of each variety, but packaged in sets of 10 (so two bags of each). This helps with freshness as the base of the cups are exposed. I've never had any issue keeping an open pack fresh; just be sure to close up tightly. Works perfectly fine in my Keurig brand brewer as well as our Instant Pod 3 in 1 brewer (makes k-cups, nespresso capsules, and can take an adaptor for using own coffee--neat machine). Love the Espresso roast. Very happy with the robust, bold, smooth flavor. Havent heard any feedback on the rest of the pack, so I assume all is just fine. Read more
This was a great cup of coffee. It all started with the opening of the bag. The smell was just like fresh ground beans and what an eye opener!! The kitchen just smelled wonderful when I brewed my first cup and the flavor was AWESOME! Now let me say that I usually try to find good k-cups that average under .30/cup. My wife said I should treat myself to a better cup. Thus I have been trying others over the past 4 months. The others were very good but not over and beyond what the cheaper cups were. This cup is SO worth the extra money and will keep getting it. I have the variety pack which has Columbian, Espresso, Donut, and Hazelnut. I saw rave reviews about this coffee was excited to give them a try. This brand is not sold anywhere I’ve lived on the east coast but they seem very environmentally and socially responsible (which is I guess more of a west coast thing lol). Makes me feel a little guilty about all the plastic I’ve produced with the convenience of Keurig, but hopefully not from now on after discovering this brand! I was first very surprised to see the first pod that did not have a plastic bottom or frame to hold the bucket shape and then I was disappointed when the first bag I opened had loose coffee grounds everywhere in it. Turns out one of pod lid was open. It may just be bad luck because the other 7 bags seem to be ok judging from the outside - I only opened 2 so far. Most importantly, I’m very pleased with the two flavors I’ve tried so far - Columbian and Espresso. I’m no coffee expert to determine their origin or how expensive the beans are, but they are fragrant, fresh tasting, no sour note at all. Here are some other common grocery store brands of non-flavored coffee I’ve liked or disliked over the years, so if you have the same palate for coffee then you should give the San Francisco Bay’s Espresso (dark) and Columbian (medium) a try: Like (rank high to low) Starbucks Pike Place Gevalia Royal Roast & Signature Roast Peet’s Major Dickason Trader Joe’s Columbian Coffee McCafe Premium Roast Dislike: Almost all Green mountain coffee Dunkin Donut original blend I’ll review more flavors as I open them! Unfortunately I’m afraid to open more to try because the bags cannot be resealed and the pods are very breathable so I don’t think it’s intended to be put in the open air. Love this coffee! I was introduced to SF coffee while staying at the Tilden in SF years ago ❤️ The donut shop is my favorite out of the pack. The fact that it’s not cased in a plastic pod is definitely a plus! The only downside is the cost, it’s expensive but a good splurge occasionally. Read more

This coffee is rich and delicious and smooth. I was worried about the espresso being too bitter but its yummy as well. None of the flavors were overly acidic which is great because I drunk my coffee black during fasts. I will be purchasing again. Read more
These have been my go-to coffee pods for years now. I love the environmentally friendly design, lots less plastic than the other options. The coffee brews just fine and the different varieties are great option. I use these with my Keurig and never had any issues. It's quality coffee. I've had these on subscribe and save for years and have no intention of removing them. Read more
