This is an interesting flax supplement. It's not pure flax seed and has a number of other ingredients, including oat bran, psyllium, nopal, orange powder, pineapple powder, apple juice powder, and so on. But ultimately it tastes just like any other flax powder as far as I can tell, which makes me think the other ingredients are only present in miniscule quantities. It seems fresh enough, but perhaps slightly less fresh than the pure flax powders I typically use. It seems to last longer in the fridge or freezer. It's not certified organic. Overall, it's an interesting flax blend, but I personally would just go with a certified organic milled flax, or flax chia blend over something like this. Read more

This Nopal Flax supplement is very interesting. I thought it was a form of nut butter, but it is actually ground flax with other ingredients mixed in. I like that it includes Nopal. I try to include that in my diet when I can because I know it offers good nutritional value. I like how easy it is to use, just sprinkle on food or add to baking. It's ground but not finely, so you still get a bit of texture. I like the jar, which is easy to fit in the fridge and easy to find. Overall, I really like this supplement and do recommend it.
