the drive is so fast, from a samsung usb drive to the sandisk the write speed was about 300 mb/s and it transferred 161 gb in like 10 minutes, maybe it was even less. Crazy! i can only imagine how fast it would be with drives that can match the speed of this drive, it gets a little warm even when not in heavy use, but not too hot to touch. overall its great so far.
