These are shorts! I love the 15" length and the fit is great...roomy, but not baggy. These come just below my knees. The material is lightweight with a little stretch, and I'm sure will dry quickly if they get wet. I hope it's durable but I'll have to wear them and see. I think they should be fine. I especially love that the pockets all have zippers! The two side pockets are large enough to fit my iPhone (I have the middle size one, not the Pro). These shorts seem to run true to size. I usually wear an 18W, so I ordered a XXL and they fit perfectly. (I'm 5'6" and weigh 215 lbs, with weight pretty evenly distributed.) I purchased these especially for travel, because they're lightweight for packing, won't easily wrinkle, will dry quickly, and have the zippered pockets for more security. I bought two pair but might purchase more in the future! I do wish they had a dark brown color, but they have quite a few nice color variations. Read more

These are the most comfortable capri's. True to size, and very lightweight. I am 5'2 and ordered a small. They fit right below the knee so not too long. The blue I ordered is more of a blue/gray.
