If you still have a collection of VHS tapes laying around, these DVD/VCR players are getting harder to find. While the tape player is getting hard to find, it's the DVD player is what usually gives trouble. This Sayno box is well made, well integrated and plays most DVDs without a problem. Of course, VHS plays as VHS should. Controls are well laid out, and easy to find. I have not tried recording. Read more
The VHS player worked perfectly, but the DVD portion rattled, spotty picture, spotty sound. Seller sent it to us via Wal-Mart for faster shipping. There were NO problems returning the machine to Wal-Mart and getting my money back. Read more
This was a wise purchase. The hookup was easy, my tapes and DVDs work perfectly. The instruction manual was easy to follow with all the information that I need to make it run well. I know that the cost was a little more than I wanted to pay; however, I am glad I purchased this model because it does a great job of playing old and new VCR tapes. I would recommend this player. It is okay - it is about the only dual player you can get new anymore and I still have videos that you cannot get on DVD so I want to keep a VCR around. When you have a DVD in the player, it takes very long for the DVD to eject - so far that is my only complaint. Read more

Picture quality is poor. No auto tracking so if you put in a tape you will need to adjust the tracking for each tape. I would not but it again. Read more
