It’s smooth against the skin, not itchy at all, and can easily be worn over a shirt or on its own for a more casual look. While the product listing recommends hand washing and line drying, the actual care label suggests machine washing in cold water on a gentle cycle using a laundry bag—which I find much more practical. Since the label also advises against soaking, machine washing seems like the safer and more convenient route. I’m 5’5” and weigh 200 lbs. I thought I had ordered an XL but accidently ordered a L instead. The large fits well in the sleeves and across the mid-to-upper portion of the sweater. However, when I button the last two buttons, the fabric pulls, creating a less flattering look. I definitely could have used the XL for a more relaxed fit, but it’s not a dealbreaker—my plan was to wear it open over a camisole anyway, so it still works perfectly for my intended style. Overall, this cardigan is a great value for the quality and style it offers. In my opinion, it’s a vintage-inspired piece that feels modern in its comfort and wearability. I’m genuinely looking forward to cooler weather so I can incorporate it into my wardrobe.
