This dress arrived looking almost exactly like the photos, and the laser cut edges give it a sleek, modern feel. That said, because there are no hems, I do wonder how it will hold up with time. It might be prone to fraying if worn and washed often, though fresh out of the package it looked very nice. The overall cut is flattering, especially with the tie at the waist, but the drape of the tie fabric is on the skimpy side. Combine that with the thinness of the material, and it didn’t feel appropriate for my office. It hugs very close to the body, as you expect from a bodycon, but since it’s so thin, it’s not quite appropriate as a standard business casual sweater dress. Someone thinner or someone with the right slip underneath might find it works, but for me it read as too revealing for a workplace setting. On the other hand, if you’re buying this as a date night or evening piece, it could be a lovely option. The ribbed knit is soft and stretchy, and it definitely creates a flattering silhouette if you’re comfortable with something form-fitting.
