This is a really well quality made coat. Medium weight. Comes down mid way on your thighs for full coverage. Several pockets for your things. I bought khaki green and love it! I could of got an XL but bought XXL because I was afraid it wouldn't have been enough room for layering but there would of been. Lots of extra room. I bought this rainproof jacket in December. It has held up against the rain in the PNW. I had to order it twice. Returning it and exchanging it was very easy to do. My first order was a size XL. I typically always get a size up in things because I like to layer and I don't like clothes to be to tight. However I ended up ordering a size down, but I could have ordered a medium because The large is still a bit large on me. There is plenty of room and the jacket has a draw string for synching it up around the waist which is super nice. I love that it is lined with a fleece like material on the inside and it is truly waterproof. The zipper quality is great, it is not a heavy jacket at all. The pockets are lovely too. My only complaint is that within 4 days of using it and hanging it up on a coat hook the the little loop on the jacket for hanging it up came un done. That is my only complaint. Read more

I am a new mom and needed a warm winter jacket that had some stretch so that I could layer underneath it. I ordered my typical size and there was enough room to wear a few base layers underneath. It has a fleece lining inside that keeps you warm with a soft shell outer layer that helps with wind resistance. It’s a great mid weight and the color of the jacket is great. Love this coat! I've been looking for a warm rain coat for quite a while with no luck. This came yesterday and is exactly what I've been looking for. It's water resistant (not waterproof), has a light weight fleece lining (coat and sleeves), deep pockets on the inside, nice angled zipped pockets on the outside, a good sized hood, and a flap over the front zipper with snaps. I generally wear a size 18 and the XL fit well with room to spare. The waist does have a drawstring that mostly gathers in the back and sides, so it's a little more flattering. It's long enough to cover my longer tunic length tops and has a slit in the back that's perfect. It doesn't have that rubbery feeling fabric that so many of the coats had. The sleeves have a velcro band to adjust at the wrist which is nice too. Read more

I used to manufacture garments - so I know what to look for in quality of manufacture. This jacket is fantastic - exceptionally well made, great fabrics and perfectly finished. Excellent buy. I am 5'6, 140lb, bought medium, Navy. Perfect fit and still room for a warm sweater if needed. It has great waterproofing, wore it in a heavy shower and came home dry.
