This is a cute design but the thin material has a cheap satin finish feel to it and appears to be of poor quality. The lace is pretty and the seams match the seams on the skirt but it is not a genuine lace. There is a 7" invisible side zipper. See the photos, my model is 5"6" and the skirt is too long for her when first tried on. Three - four inch heels would make the difference-no flats. The other photo provides a close-up view of the lace design. You can see the skirt needs a quick steaming out of the package. The thin material would do best with steaming or a low iron. I was certain I had selected a different color scheme when placing my order. On several occasions, I've noticed that product details seem to shift unexpectedly when I reach the final order confirmation page. This particular item concerned me deeply, as I feared it would resemble an overly revealing garment or something more suited to a youthful nightclub ensemble. My original intention was to purchase the version with black fabric and crisp white trim, which would have better suited my style and preferences. I even had the perfect pieces to go with it. I don't want to return this just in case it was a keying error on my part. And in any case, i do need a new long black slip. And this will make an excellent one. The color is absolutely gorgeous. The fabric is so soft and silky. I love the length and the lace at the bottom. It's really nice and not itchy. The only issue is it is too thin to wear outside. The solid fabric is thick enough to not be see through, but is soft, lightweight, and breathable. There's a hidden side zipper that glides easily, making dressing easy. I ordered this skirt on a whim and im not disappointed at all. While its construction isn't the best it still has style and looks great on! I love how the bottom half is sheer and it breaks up the material and it really makes the overall look. The skirt would look great with any shoe, dressy or casual. The fabric is like a sexy nighty.
