I absolutely love this color. Like a metallic blue when melted. I feel the different colors spread differently. I like this one the best because it feels a little more thicker than say the yellow. I’m no professional but I managed a salon and spa for 20 years and this was the only brand we ordered from the beauty supply store. Now I do my own hard wax on my chin and neck and absolutely love it. It’s so easy! I will always be a repeat customer for Satin Smooth brands. You may get lucky but before I knew I could get satin smooth on Amazon , I ordered from tik tok and all their waxes were impossible to “rip” they broke like hard candy everytime I would grip it and try to rip. I have ordered this as another better option after I received my wax pot a few weeks ago. My wax pot came with its own wax beads but I wanted to see if I can take advantage of a bigger box with a better price. Even though it’s good wax it does leave lots of residue behind. Not sure if I need to be a professional but with the wax beads my wax pot originally came with , it did job very well. This leaves pieces behind so I have to take off with coconut oil. Not sure if I’m setting it to the right temperature or not but it doesn’t completely rip off all the way. Yes it does wax from the root so that’s good. Unless you find a way to rip off the whole strip off completely, You will get annoyed by what it leaves. Doesn’t bother me though, I just spend a little more time taking the little pieces of hard wax left. I don’t think I will order again. Read more

I'm a licensed esthetician & this is the hard wax I was trained on. I've tried a dozen other brands & always come back to this one. It's just the best. Thick but not to thick. It really grabs the hair well, but is soothing & gentle due to the addition of the calendula. I really love the pebble wax as opposed to the solid wax tins, since I can keep the wax topped off & therefore it won't over-heat. Over-heating causes your wax to become stringy and it loses its effectiveness at grabbing onto hair, which just ends up becoming waste. Read more

You can’t let it get too hard before you start to rip it. I always flick a little tab at the end right after I apply it so I can grab it easier to rip it off. It works great. It’s what I use for intimate areas and it works great. Hard wax you can safely go back over an area without upsetting the skin any further in my experience, at least with this wax. Read more
