It helped me with my shoulder pain but it upset my armpits when it rubbed on my lower arm. I would only wear it with a shirt underneath but it would make me sweat a bit which would mess up my shirt that i was wearing underneath. I was looking for something that was more minimalist to stabilize my shoulders as I have shoulder issues. This was the 1st thing I tried. 1st off, I don't usually complain about chemical smells of items, but OMG, this was kinda bad, even for me. I'm thin, with shoulders that are neither very broad nor narrow, but this did not fit right. The top of the shoulders didn't lie flat so looked like football gear. It also cut somewhat under the armpit. Somehow, the proportions of this were all off and the material, which I'd hope was like a flexible, yet tight neoprene, was much more stiff. I'm lucky I ordered size large. I am size Large shirts Guess and American Eagle (Point of reference) shoulder width shirts 18.5-20. Fit was 95% perfect. A bit too snug on the arms , the back is good. I took off a star because it's a bit HOT. It doesn't breath well at all. The material is the sane as the waist bands you find at Walmart made of stretchy foam. It's not too hard or soft. It's also a bit uncomfortable, but if I keep wearing it it will feel better. Lastly, it has a very strong smell that of a new tire. I washed it today 3 times to get rid of it. 1st washed took 60% off the smell, the second left 30%, it's going to go away. I'm going to say I'm keeping it, it feels okay. I'm sure with persistent wear it will feel comfortable. I am going to make holes with hole puncher to get it to breath. It looks great!!! It adds a bit of muscle mass to the shoulders. If youre a lady, you may keep that in mind if you're shoulders are too big. If you're a man who wants to increase shoulder width, this is perfect. Overall I do recommend it in Large. If you're another size it's a higher price, consider other options for same price range. At $9 this was a great buy. Update 2nd day. After 3 washes, I worked again the smell was less, but because it's hot, perspiration brings back the ugly smell. Will keep washing and update another day. Read more

This product is terrible if you need it for any sort of pain support. If you are already experiencing pain, there is no way to actually get this on without significantly increasing your pain just getting into the thing.
