Honest Dad Review—December 12, 2025
This Vitalysse scalp derma roller feels like a real upgrade compared to the cheaper rollers I’ve used before. I moved from a basic 0.5mm roller to this 0.25mm version and the difference is noticeable right away. The needles feel more consistent, the roller itself is more stable, and it covers a wider area with each pass, which means less time rolling and more even coverage. The build quality stands out. The roller feels denser and more solid, not loose or flimsy like many inexpensive options. It rolls smoothly without pulling or snagging, and the pressure feels controlled rather than harsh. I also prefer the 0.25mm depth for regular use because it feels gentler while still doing what it’s supposed to do. From my personal experience, the goal here is to stimulate the scalp and encourage blood flow in areas where follicles may still be active. After consistent use, I’ve started noticing early signs of improvement, including what looks like new hair growth. I’ve included photos for comparison so you can see the difference over time. I also feel more comfortable using this approach versus relying on topical treatments long-term. This roller fits easily into a routine, is easy to clean, and feels like a tool designed to last rather than something disposable. Overall, if you’re considering microneedling for scalp care and want something better than the usual cheap rollers, this one feels well worth it. Read more

so I’ve been using this roller for a couple weeks now and I didn’t want to write a review until I had a honest review to write! So let’s start by roller quality qualities is excellent durable also lot of these rollers Your hair gets caught up in the roller and pulls your hair this one definitely doesn’t do that. Also, I have been seeing hair growth. I see a lot of baby hairs growing in ladies. If you’re on your hair growth journey this roller is a must. I wanted to share a honest review because I bought two rollers and the quality has been awful by far. This has been the best one. Read more

The media could not be loaded. love this dermaroller! It’s really helped with postpartum stretch marks. It doesn’t really help with loose skin but it’s definitely brightened up my stretch marks. The size is convenient to cover belly Read more

This derma roller is solid and easy to handle. I like that the head is replaceable, which makes it feel more hygienic. The needles are just the right length for beginners like me, not painful, just a little tingly. I’ve been using it on my scalp and skin, and it already feels like it’s helping with product absorption. Great tool to add to my routine! The only downside is mine didn’t come with the replacement head like the description said, which was disappointing. Otherwise, it’s a great tool to have! Read more

I made the mistake of buying a cheaper one and it broke in a few months. Was never sure if I was even doing it right. This one is the real deal. It’s extremely sturdy and you can actually feel it when rolling your scalp. I would not use this every day… every week would be more appropriate. Read more

Excellent product! My daughter has been using it for a month now and it helps her hair grow. She has a lil bit of balding and she uses this every day after she showers. She said it's uncomfortable at first but you'll get use to it. Read more
