Well worth the money. The classic look and detail for this lamp are very valuable for the price paid. I saw others didn’t like how the switch works, but I don’t mind it at all. I like the different levels of lighting. The shade itself isn’t my favorite so I might replace it down the line. I wouldn’t let that deter you from purchasing the lamp itself as it is worth it. Wonderful lamp. This photo shows what we bought. Wife loves the old world charm, leather look shade, and 3 way bulb. Not the brightest but with standard screw base it can easily be changed. Very easy assembly. Sturdy, heavy base, and long cord. Good for reading or accent. If made of hand carved wood or cast bronze it could cost 10X more. We are very pleased. They feel really sturdy, but it’s important to note (in case you missed it like me cause the design is cute af) the lights are LED. The lanterns themselves can also be a little difficult to attach and by a little I mean very difficult. Since this is LED the lights are harsh and bright but they are more yellow then white which helps aid the eye strain. Aside from that, the material itself feels pretty solid and it was easy to put together. I’d say it feels pretty solid as well I just worry about the pedal and it being an LED light as I don’t know how it will affect the longevity of the item. Building a nerdy den and these look great in it. I just wish there was an alternative so you can actually switch out the lights for an alternative, but that’s on me. Read more

This lamp is very attractive and very easy to assemble; no tools required! I put it together in less than 30 minutes and most of that time was spent unpacking it (it was very well protected during shipping!) It is heavy & very sturdy & I have no concerns of it tipping over. It is beautiful and expensive looking. It comes with a 60 W equivalent bulb but lamp says it will accommodate a 100 W bulb. The beautiful faux (real looking) leather shade creates a lovely soft glow.
