Nice weight, comfortable shave, great price. (I’ve recently re-tried another popular brand…which I was loyal to for decades, just to see if they’d returned to quality, only to find that their 3-blade shaver still feels like a cheap child’s toy that just happens to have real blades. Thus…) I’m sticking with Schick Hydro. Read more

I've been using Schick triple blade disposables for years and have always been satisfied with them, so I thought I'd try one of their newer products, or perhaps another brand if I can find one that I like. I wanted something that didn't pivot, because I figured I wouldn't have enough control over the blade. The listing doesn't mention that it swivels, and it looked like this was the only one on the market that doesn't swivel, so I pulled the trigger. Before I used it, I noticed it was a swivel blade, and I was a little upset that it doesn't mention this in the listing. But after using it the first time, I couldn't believe how smooth this thing is. I'll get used to the swivel head, I think. Having now used it, I can see it's advantages. The only question now is how long will the blades last? The Schick Xtreme blades lasted 3-5 months each, which is impressive. I hope I'm not disappointed. 18 mos later: The blades just don't seem to want to wear out. I changed the first one because I just thought it was supposed to be about time after about 5 months. After about another 6 months on my third one, it's still doing just fine. I don't have a particularly heavy beard, and I only shave every other day. But I'm impressed with how these last. And, although I cut myself fairly often using the disposal ones I used previously by being careless and impatient (even with fresh blades), I have yet to have that happen with these. And, why the necessity for 4 or 5 blades as the standard is now, I just can't understand. If it's not going to get cut with 3, it's not going to get cut with 5. The only reason for 4 stars, is the handle doesn't feel that comfortable for me as it is a little too narrow, but I'm getting used to it. The disposable had a better feel to it. Read more

These razors did more pulling then cutting , maybe it's only cause it's the "ultra Sesitive " design . I'm unsure cause I'm usually satisfied with Schick products. Read more
