The bag is definitely a lot bigger than it looks, I am able to fit 2 textbooks, a 15.6 in laptop, and some folders, notebooks and a binder in it. Only downside and why it gets stars taken is because day one of me using it the puff fell off from me simply just getting it caught on my seatbelt in the car so it seems cheaply made otherwise it looks nice, color is spot on from the picture and it’s very lightweight. This is a beautiful, well-made, fashionable laptop bag/backpack. As much as I love the cream color, I was a little apprehensive to order it, for fear of staining the light color. But it has a slight sheen to the material—ever so slight—so if something gets on it, and you wipe it off quickly, it won’t stain (within reason). This bag has an internal pocket that fits my almost 16 inch laptop with a Velcro strap to help secure it. The pocket has enough room that you could fit a larger laptop than that; this pocket is amply padded, and has a smaller padded pocket right in front of it to hold a tablet. As for how much bigger of a laptop would fit—with my 15.6” laptop inside, there is another 1 inch of space left available in width, and two more inches in left in height. I took a photo with my laptop inside to show how much additional space is available. The bag almost has a pinkish tinge to it. I think it looks even better in person than in the photo—I fluffed it a little for the picture, but it only has a laptop inside it. The inside main compartment of this bag is spacious. There are two zippers on each side for the main opening. Then there is a slimmer, secondary, full length compartment with one zipper. Inside that is another zippered compartment for smaller items, two pencil holders, and two other smaller open pockets. The front of the bag has a large slim zippered pocket that reaches 3/4 the way to the top that could hold several notebooks. In front of that is a large pouch—this pouch is secured by a sturdy, thick flap, and the two “leather” straps and buckles; there is no zipper for this compartment, so I would probably only use it to carry bulky items that would not be at risk for slipping out the top somehow. These straps are functional—they are the real deal! Many bags out there have decorative straps that serve zero purpose….But these are NOT just for decoration and take some time to open and close. There are two drink pockets on either side with thick elastic at the top to securely hold water bottles or shaker cups. These are SO much nicer and more durable than mesh pockets! On the back there is a slim zippered pocket to hold maybe a wallet or flat items. I probably wouldn’t put anything like keys in there if you plan to wear this like a backpack, as it would be right up against your back. The straps are thick, adjustable, and nicely padded. And for a finished touch, it has a large, extremely soft pom-pom attached by beaded metal connector as pictured in the product photos. It also has a luggage strap that is sturdily reinforced across the back of this bag. If you like the color, look, and style of this bag, you will love this!
