When the battery died on my Shelby GT500 I tried to jump start it with cables but the engine would not quite turn over so I ordered the Schumacher 3000 amp jump starter and it spun that engine easily. Read more

Terrible product. It never worked properly. I have had many battery jumpers on the farm but this brand has been the worst. If a battery in the tractor is non functional this jump pack will not allow a jump. I have to get in and out to push the button and then it just disappears with the battery light turning off. I wish I could return it. Read more

I purchased these for work and bought 2. One was fine, no issues. The other however simply wouldn't take a charge. When plugged in the lights would just flash indicating there was a problem. I thought OK, reached out to Schumacher and had a warranty replacement one the way. HOWEVER... That one too had issues. This time charging was no problem, but there was no "click" to the buttons on the front. Couldn't turn the unit on, light or anything else. Finally the third one was back to working as it should, but out of 4 total, 2 were essentially DOA. No quality control I guess. On the positive, these do have decent output. Even a semi truck (4 batteries) when low would come back to life with this pack, something many of the heavier units can't do. Also, this one is VERY light as well at I think 7 lbs vs our bigger packs that are something like 65. Read more
