This jacket is amazing. The fit and finish is amazing as well as all of the CE rated armor. The only thing I have done is remove the chest pad and kidney belt since it has been so hot in AZ. I'm 180lbs, 5'11" and wear a medium in everything, athletic build. I own one large coat purposely so I can wear a life jacket under it, otherwise it's a house. I'm also a 40" chest, which is a medium per the Scorpion size chart. I could barely get into this thing with the chest guard. Took that off, and squeezed into it. Standing straight up with a medium weight layer under and it's tight. Riding position, no way. The size renders all the compression straps useless. The hand holes are also really tight, with no way to loosen, and I have to work to get it off. But the kicker is the neck gator, a big reason I got this. I don't have a big neck by any stretch. I'm skinny. But, the neck gator is either cut wrong, or just sized even smaller than the jacket. When trying to close it, the closing tail end is a full 6-8" from where it's supposed to line up with the other velcro. You'd have to have a legit pencil neck to use it. And forget being able to use it up around your chin. It would have to be 10" longer. What's the point of size charts if they're all wrong? 90% of this stuff is bought online, just get the size charts right, man. And this is an all season jacket, so of course you're going to need to layer under it, which would be impossible under this thing. I don't even know if a large would work, certainly not the gator unless it was a massive jump up. Waste of time ordering. Will have to return.
