If your going to buy this, do yourself a favor and have a box knife and a hack saw. The hack saw blade alone is all I used to cut the tabs off flush. I uses the knife to cut any extra plastic blocking the extender tabs. I would like to point out to those complaining about this product if you wanted something specific for your car then spend more money and get one. This product provides ALOT for a small price point. Yes, it not perfect but it can easily be solved in seconds with a box knife. Took me less than 30 minutes to put together, just follow the book. It didn't fit my radio exactly, the right side bumps out like a 16th of an inch. Everything connected to my new radio perfectly and to the factory harness. Read more

Harness worked and mount did too. The mount took modifications to fit but atleast it gives you an easy starting point.. don't expect to just take this out the package and have it fit. The Harness fit BUT you NEEEEEED to run a power wire from your head unit to a 12v source because this Harness DOES NOT have a powersupply wire in it. The kit has everything, but it doesn't fit every vehicle they state. For example, it does not fit a 2006 Silverado 1500 because the side bracket holes are too far back to mount my new radio. Unfortunately for me, I already broke off the required tabs (mess) and hooked up the wiring harness, or I would be returning it. The instructions suck too and the red wire coming off the radio doesn't get hooked up to the red wire in the other harness. It instead goes to somewhere else for power. Read more

It’s an all in one kit for way too many vehicles. Gone are the days of adapters just for one car. Very clever though. Just remove the tabs that you don’t need. But the tabs were not easy to remove without scoring with a razor. If you just muscle them off you can crack the fragile main frame. And the holes for the radio itself didn’t line up. Had to drill my own. And some of the tabs had excess plastic that had to be shaved off to fit. Bad mold or just sloppy work. I’ve installed a lot of radios so it wasn’t a problem to figure out. But if you haven’t done this before take your time. Be careful not to remove the wrong tabs and know that the instructions aren’t the greatest. And have a sharp razor handy to cut off the excess plastic. Read more
