Great fix for Mazda CX3, why didn't I think of the power socket before!!
Custom phone holders for my vehicle very expensive and vent and cup holder mounts didn't work for me. Had a stick holder on but failed in the heat of the summer. Also with a case on, holders that hold phone magnetically didn't work either. This has solved my problems. Just wish I had found it several years ago!!! Obscures access to the fan and ventilation controls a bit but worth it to have the phone secure and easily visible and can reach behind the gooseneck to change the fan if need be. I tend not to fiddle with those controls once I have started anyway. Read more
Really good alternative
In certain states, windshield mounting is prohibited. This works well as alternative. It will bounce slightly, so might need foam, but this is expected. The one negative is the material used to hold phone does not work well. It is very hard so it does not grip phone well. Read more
Poor Design
You have to squeeze it so tight to have the holder hold the phone properly. Even at that it slips out. I was traveling and missed the window to return. Its a shame because I have two holders from the same company that are excellent. I baught this one because the original design I liked was out of stock. Read more
Not for short 12v ports
This would have gotten 5 stars if it had some sort of power management like IQ. As it is just labeled "high power" which is just 1A, double the 500mA USB standard. Has problems staying in some Toyota 12V ports due to their short barrels. Read more

I bought it because I had a long road trip coming up and I wanted to be able to see my phone for the GPS and also be able to charge my phone. The charger last halfway before the tip broke off in the charging port. Needed pliers to pull it out. There's a rubber ring that I took off so that I could re connect the tip better.
