I recently bought the Cobalt blue pack windbreaker, in the men size medium because it's not as form fitting as the woman's version and that allows more space for storage without looking lumpy. It's very well constructed, and the fabric is high quality. I use the pockets in lieu of a purse. My first purchase was a red trenchcoat in ladies' size large, when it was marked down in price. It's sharp looking and has all the pockets. And I like it a lot. The only thing I wish was different is the fabric. It seems to wrinkle more easily than fabric for most coats. And my second purchase was a black hoodie. I purchased the men's small first, and it fit, but I felt like I needed more room for my stuff, so I exchanged it for a men's size medium. I ordered black because it goes with everything. I wear this a lot, and keep my stuff in it just like I would in a purse. During the cold weather, I wear this under a coat. The only thing wrong is that somebody goofed up and apparently sewed a large or extra large sleeve on the left side. When I hold my arms out to the side I can tell it's much wider under the arm than the other sleeve. I didn't realize it right away and when I did, the return window was over, so I've taken it up in places to make the one arm the same size as the other arm. I don't think this happens much, but you might want to inspect when you first receive your garment. I gave this jacket to my husband as a Christmas gift hoping and praying it would fit. He is not easy to please but when he saw it had 19 hidden pockets he searched for every one of them and loved the fact his wallet, keys and phone would no longer drag his jeans down. He tried it on and the sleeves were the right length as well as the zipper front fit his chest and waistline. He loves that it is light weight but also warm and it is his every day go-to jacket. I like the pockets, the material seems to be good quality. Not very breathable, unfortunately, so I think it won't be something I can wear unless the weather is pretty cool. Depends on your personal tolerance. Read more
I love this jacket. Everything that is said about it is accurate. Really an essential travel jacket, and it's so well thought out and constructed. Sizing is spot on. My only disappointment is that it doesn't come with any care instructions. Really don't want to mess it up. Update: care label is there as expected. My fault. Care is a bit restrictive: gentle cycle, no dryer, no iron. But if that's what it takes to keep it going, I'm fine with it. Read more
I have gotten Jackets from this brand twice before. They are costly for basic coats but quality, and innovation are worth it. This how ever was my first wind breaker. I wear one of these every day and the wind breaker is not up to snuff. I have multiple holes in the material and one of the zipper heads has already fallen off. My last two were years before there were holes and only the oldest lost a zipper head and that was after 3years of heavy use. Read more
This is like wearing another piece of luggage. I bought a larger size than I needed to layer a sweater or sweatshirt underneath for colder weather. I think I need more practice with balancing out the weight in the pockets. It has tons of capacity. If you load it up it does get bulky and heavy quickly. If you’re trying to fly with no bags, this would work if you planned accordingly. Worked well as a windbreaker walking around on a trip last fall. Haven’t tried it out in rainy weather or snow yet so I’m not sure if waterproof. I’m a lady with broader shoulders and a bigger chest so I opted for the men’s jacket. This fits me pretty comfortably. Excellent fit and finish. So many pockets. Was able to carry so many extras on plane and they all had easy access. Places for wallet and passport that were hidden but still easy to access. Could cary a camera, bottle of water, phone, wallet, sunscreen, etc. while out on tours. Also the jacket was water repellent for a few short cloudbursts that snuck up on us.
