There are really two zippers, not three if you saw the three pocket wording. Side pocket goes both backwards and forwards from the zipper. I managed to stuff Samsung S23+ in them with an effort and that made the T-shirt unbalanced, pulling to the right. Using chest pocket for phone is impossible - it interferes with arm movement. So you got a fairly heavy weight, expensive t-shirt that you can use to store some cash and credit card maybe. Suggestion - make a side pocket of normal size for easy phone handling and add a symmetrical pocket on the other side to balance the load. Read more

This is a well-established brand with some very prominent fans (including Woz), so I was happy to find one of their products on Amazon Vine. Their grassroots marketing is similar to Tilley, who also provide a set of cards to hand out to people who ask about your item. I got the XL, which for some shirt styles is optimistic. Still got my winter belly a month from summer, so some of my shirts are aspirational rather than wearable. This one was a pretty good fit, comfortable material, and the pockets are not overwhelming. It is not thick enough to obscure nipples, but it is comfortable to wear and the pockets are the real draw anyway. It took me a moment to figure out the two lower pockets (and even to find them - they're subtle) - it's one zipper with a front pouch and back pouch. I've taken a photo with a pair of CD-ROM sleeves to give you an idea of how they work. The top pocket is more predictable in style and ease of location. After this product experience I'll be considering some of their other products. I'll also be looking for opportunities to make the most of this shirt, especially since weather in Silicon Valley is no longer jacket friendly (I'm not complaining) so I'd want somewhere to stash a small charger or a snack for a long walk. The top left breast pocket extends to the shoulder, not to the collar like in the picture. The location of the pocket creates a shallow and weird shaped pocket that makes movement feel weird. The fabric used for the pocket has a tear after only be used 3 times. The fabric for the shirt itself and the length is excellent. It's a great idea poorly implemented. Read more

I have been buying this brand since before they became popular. Back when they first started, they were revolutionary. They didn't have too many options, but the options they had, were all very high quality and lasted a long time. I have bought 3 different jackets, a couple pairs of pants, and a few hoodies from them. This was all before they got popular. Now, the prices are what keep me from continuing to buy them. The quality is still very good, but, the prices are just too high, in my honest opinion. I am a person who won't stop wearing clothing until it completely falls apart. Thankfully, almost all of my old stuff from this brand is still in good condition (one of the hoodies got so much use, over many years, that, well, it is no longer around). Material is very soft. Feels nice on the skin, although with this being bamboo fiber, it does tend to show off any thing that is going on, and in my case, my nipples are clearly visible when I wear this shirt. Stitching is always perfect. They always hold up to multiple washes, over many years. I have never had a problem with this brand and shoddy quality. Fading will occur, but it will take a long time. One of the jackets that I have, it has been worn daily for about 8 years, and it is just starting to fade. If you are looking for very good quality, with extra pockets, then this is a great brand to get. Just be warned, the prices are very high. Read more

Scottevest makes a lot of different styles of clothing with enough pockets to spend hours trying to find what you've stowed! The t-shirt version has only 3 pockets, which is way less than their typical stuff but that allows the shirt to stay lightweight and still let you carry a few items. The material is soft and it fits true to size. They have good quality control. The stitching and zippers are always very good quality. Read more
