I’ve used Scotts GrubEx1 Season Long Grub Killer for a couple of seasons now, and it’s become a must-have for my lawn care routine. It’s easy to apply, spreads evenly, and provides reliable protection for months. After using it, I’ve noticed no more brown patches or damage from grubs, and my lawn has stayed thick and healthy all summer long. One application really does the job—it gives me peace of mind knowing the yard is protected for up to four months. I also appreciate that it treats a large area (5,000 sq. ft.) and integrates perfectly with the rest of my lawn care plan. If you want to keep your lawn green, strong, and pest-free without constant maintenance, this product delivers exactly what it promises. Highly recommend! Read more
I've had grub problems for years, and this is the first thing that's actually worked. I put it down early spring, followed the instructions, and haven’t seen a single patch of torn-up grass or critters digging since. Definitely helped keep the lawn looking healthy through the summer, and it’s nice not having to reapply constantly one and done for the season. The bag covers a lot more area than I expected and seems to be gentle on the enviroment, which is a bonus since we’ve got pets running around. If grubs are wrecking your yard, I’d absolutly recomend giving this stuff a try. I'm only giving it 4 stars as it is pricey. And it's not a year long thing. You have to apply every season. Super effective though. Functions easiy. Read more

I’ve been at my residence for 3 years, after using this product I must say this is the first time I’ve not seen my back yard full of little holes. I purchased this at a really good price and wanted to see how well it would work. It didn’t disappoint. I wish it worked on mosquitoes, it doesn’t. Read more
Started to use both grubex and diseaseex this season now that I can properly care for my lawn as I was restricted the last 2 years due to physical injuries. So far this year had been the best my yard had looked in years, this and diseaseex both have helped complement my fertilizer rotation. I know I won't see the full impact of the grubex until next season, but it does seem to have helped limit insects thus far. Considering you only have to apply once per season pricing isn't bad, I'll get about 3 applications from the 15lb bag. Easy to apply , used my Scotts rotary spreader at the rate listed in directions, no issues with that, watered it in good. Fortunately it didn't harm any of the grass which is one thing Im always worried about with insect control. Overall I would definitely recommend this, BUT read the directions and info - this is not a product that will kill on contact or to use for spot treatments, this is what I would call preventative maintenance in that it kills the grubs as they develop and before they can harm the grass. Don't expect this to wipe out a yard actively infested with insects, you'll need something stronger for that. Best way to treat an infestation: prevent it with something like this Read more
