The lighter is great, and the flexible neck is really flexible. For my purposes, I am annoyed by the child lockout devices that need to be pushed, depressed, or whatever so the trigger will work. The product descriptions shows one on top of the lighter handle, and I was prepared to live with it to get the flexible neck, but the three I received with 2023 copyrights on the packaging do not have them. The trigger is firm (firmer than a young child could pull), but that's just fine with me as I prefer that to manipulating two things at once. Read more

Trigger is firm. I thought it was broken because would not light. Not so easy to press on the Aim N Flame Max new EZ one step light. I had to use the index fingers on both hands to press hard enough for it to flame. I like that it is flexible to light my candles . Read more
I originally purchased this to light my blown out furnace. But use it for pretty much for anything I need to light such as deep candles to a propane burner that won’t light on the bbq. The fact that it’s bendable helps enormously. The part that bends doesn’t get hot so you can easily throw it in a drawer afterwards and not worry if it’s still hot .
