This lanyard gives you options. I got it to use with my cell phone. It has a small gold stainless steel tab insert that fits well inside my cellphone case so that when I attach the metal clip at the end of the lanyard it holds secure. It also has two different clear plastic pockets for an ID badge. The lanyard itself is nice. It's stretchy and feels strong and durable. The fabric is soft and smooth. The clasp at the end is firm, also the stitching that holds it together is sewn well and appears well made, so it should last a long time. The only downside is when I have my cellphone clipped on, I can’t charge my phone due to the stainless-steel clip insert that gets in the way and doesn’t allow the USB-C to go in all the way and charge my phone. I’ve been using this scrunchie lanyard since the day I got it. As a teacher I am required to wear my ID badge daily on school ground. I also have my keys attached to the lanyard. This lanyard makes it easy to pull over my head to take it on and office daily. I love the stretch of it, as I am able to pull it forward to unlock the various doors in the building. I needed this scrunchie lanyard for when I occasionally go into the office to have something cute and comfortable for my badge. This is THE MOST comfortable lanyard I have found that doesn't cut into my neck or shoulders, even after wearing it all day! It's nice and silky soft and it stretches just far enough for scanning without having to lean in. It's also a really good deal, especially because it’s so versatile and comes with everything you need: I really appreciate that it came with two different plastic sleeves (horizontal and vertical) to suit the exact orientation of my work badge. Plus, it came with the little metal piece that I could insert into my phone case and then attach my phone to the lanyard if I wanted to, which is a great touch.
